The same clowns that said you could get it swimming in the ocean! Really? An old wise man once said, We have nothing to fear, but fear itself!

Why is it "fluff" when the Illinois Department of Public Health Director explains why "swimming pools should not be opened for now".
She said that there were also "...a myriad of reasons, that wouldn’t be conducive to promoting social distancing and decreasing community spread".
Dr. Ezike: Swimming Pools Are Not Safe To Use During Coronavirus Pandemic Because Of ‘Fecal Shedding’

Somehow I must have missed it when CNN, MSNBC, PBS, ABC & NBC said you could "get it swimming in the ocean". Could you possibly share your source? Are you sure it wasn't one of the 'alternative facts' clowns?

She was being sarcastic "Ezike said, barely able to stop herself from laughing as she did so."

And went on to say locker rooms was the risk area.

Thanks, I was about to post who Dr Ezike is for those that never seem to read the links posted. I also posted the CDC guidance which says it should be safe. I am rewarded with posts advising me to shut up and wrap myself in bubble wrap. :a040::a040:

Fecal shedding can be produced by anyone of any age, not just infants.

eyc234 04-27-2020 08:39 AM

:faint: So again logical thought processes are blunted. If this is so bad then it would have to be multiplied by thousands of times by taking a bath. Fecal is fecal whether yours or someone else and guarantee there is far less chemicals in bath water than in a swimming pool. Pools are cleaned on a daily basis doubt that the majority of people clean their bathtubs or showers daily.

More dangerous from the chlorine

ficoguy 04-27-2020 08:50 AM

Fecal shedding applies to herds of cows and cattle

New Englander 04-27-2020 08:52 AM

I could be wrong, but I don't think TV uses chlorine in the pools. I think they use something else to control bacteria.

I notice you don’t put Fox News up there with stations not to watch
