I also read something interesting in regards to the COVIC infections. Just the other day, I read that a 103 year old granny in Moldova has been isolated in her home and has not been out and about for 7 months during the pandemic. No one has been in her home during that time, not even family. She states that she talked to a family member on the phone recently and has now found out that she is infected with the virus. Apparently, she was not wearing a mask when she was speaking on the phone.

I heard she got it from her cat. From what I heard it was a Tom and had quite the social life.

Like many others, I’m dubious. Since many who are infected have NO symptoms, how would one know if he caught it from one of them? Stories like this are a dime a dozen, and not worth the money.

Yes. Did you even read the article or do you always assume asian news from a well established news source is fake. :ohdear:

South Korea would be MUCH more likely than the US to have RELIABLE information - because they reacted WAY better to the CV Plague than did the US. They started EARLY with mitigation techniques. Basically they took it seriously and did not IGNORE it. Then, they were able to CONTACT TRACE, which did NOT work in the US because we did NOT take CV seriously early on. CV has been out of control here since June. Incidentally, the reason for South Korea's success is that their citizens trust the information from their leaders who have SUPPLIED a CONSISTENT message about CV. And South Korea has endured and SUCCESSFULLY fought (with mask mandates) PRIOR similar Plagues. They had history on THEIR side. The US did NOT! In fact, we have a history of non-cooperation between states. Don't believe it? Today we have some states talking about seceding from the Union. Red and blue states had opposite attitudes toward CV. That, all told, is the reason for South Korea's CV information and contact tracing being superior to the GREAT US of A.

Are you sure that you are not speaking of Sweden? Is there any country that you believe the U.S. is superior to? Wow!

You might be right. We know that ALL old women have a slew of cats on the premises. I remember the story of the Southern granny in her 90's that contracted AIDs from a mosquito bite. All these stories have to be true, because we know that our highly educated members on here believe anything that appears in the news, as long as it does not come from a certain cable network....

Good for you for knowing what many may not have been aware of with this virus. What is new is that the protocol was to be 6 feet apart to be safe from transmission, but this article makes us aware that indoor air may be full of aerosol Covid particles, so 6 feet apart is not necessarily safe.

So next we will hear that for 100 days we should wear a mask 24x7 regardless of where you are.

Contact tracing let’s the government know who you’ve been in contact with and your whereabouts. You’re okay with that ?

That post was a very good health care message and warning. Don't dance with the CV Devil!

Let me guess. They were both wearing masks and face shields too.

....and you don't think that if for some obscure reason the government were interested in you, they would not be able to trace your movements?
Every time you log onto a device, you can be traced.
As for cell phones, you leave a path wherever you go!

If it is true what you say about Golf NOT being a moneymaker ( which I doubt because it is the reason that so many people move to TV Land), then Golf should be stopped in its tracks and par 3s put in because the LARGE courses are bad for the environment (fertilizer runoff and chemical poisoning of birds and turtles, also humans somewhat) and more forest areas could be substituted for the Golf.

of course, I don't believe that anything like that can happen in MY lifetime because MAN is determined to kill off as many plant and animal species as HUMANLY (ha, ha) possible until EVEN MANKIND is at the brink. You go......brothers and sisters.........pollute away!!!!!

Given the right conditions, any airborne virus, will spread easier in an enlosed space, than outside.
This report is just another way to dramatise the news.

Or MAYBE (?) sound a warning knell that ALL humans should hear and take ACTION on!

yes you can get covid 19 indoors that when you are have social interaction even if you are indoors 20 feet you must were a N95 mask to be sure especially when the AC unit is on recirculating and moving air and air droplets. also change your AC filter to high efficiency one very offend and make sure have high power blower motor to be sure that air is being filter properly.

Maybe - but as a message of WARNING to the good people of TV Land, if La Lamy were to save ONE person in TV Land who takes that message seriously and MANDATES his-or-her-selves to stay AWAY from any indoor building containing people - then that warning is GOLDEN to them. And La Lamy is GOLDEN for CARING enough about her NEIGHBORS to pass USEFUL information on to them, which COULD save their lives! You go Golden Lady.......forget the naysayers - who MAYBE(?) right in the letter of medical science (who knows) BUT is again missing the forest (of CV death and callous DOWNPLAYING) for the details and smugly assuming the intellectual high ground.
