Default Pickle Ball

is just table tennis enlarged. Would fear playing against Forrest Gump more. It does provide great exercise for older folks as well as many injuries and black and blue marks.

I used to walk around a local dog park with a pickleball instructor. She was renting a home close by. I never asked her about pickleball pointers. This was probably before COVID though but am not sure.

There is a YouTube video from about 3 years ago of a pickleball match in Hollywood Florida at the Hard Rock Casino. Lots of laughs. Agassi, John McEnroe, Andy Rodick and Anthony Kim

Her mother used to be her partner early on.

You can watch some of the match here:

ALW and Agassi

You'll have to skip some of the other matches. It's about halfway in.

I remember that match. It was painful to watch. They had no idea what they were doing, and compounded it by acting like goofballs. If you haven't seen it, don't bother.

WELL, he's 17 years younger than I am, more athletic, with a world class tennis background. I don't think I'd do very well.

Give me Anna Leigh Waters for a partner, and give him someone old and slow like me, and I'd have a chance. I just have to stay out of Anna Leigh's way.

Oh really....I was an Agassi fan and in my memory, Pete beat Agassi more than Agassi beat Pete! I never heard Agassi say anything unkind about Pete. Also, Agassi was a wild child teenager in the beginning but he wrote his book and came clean about drugs and such. Now he helps underprivileged kids get an education. I applaud how he turned out as a grown person, helping others. Just my humble opinion. ☺

My opinion also, when means nothing other than my opinion.

“ He” beat him was Sampras won more while on tour. Pete was alway top class, gentleman, and worked his way up tennis the hard way. Agassi was little privileged pro son whiner having it so hard going off to nicks camp. He didn’t have good thing to say about Pete while on tour not mention rest of his problems. Sure he turned out good, connections in Vegas, and foundations a way for rich to hid their money by paying family members outrageous salaries. Not saying Agassi did that? But, it’s usually done for tax purposes, have to do something after glory days, and feel good fame and if you have big money donation connections why not.

Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi faced off 9 times in Grand Slam tournaments, with Sampras winning 6 of those matches.

“He” beat him was Sampras. All time 20 wins for Pete 14 for Andra.

Quote from AI

“Andre Agassi initially boycotted Wimbledon from 1988 to 1990 due to the tournament's all-white dress code, which he felt clashed with his personal style and brand at the time”

Andra could have won more, but his ego got in way.
