Prayers for my friend's pooch who got mauled.
 

Sending out prayers to my friend of a year or so whose dog got attacked around Tuesday, 9/22/2016. Hope she recovers from the various surgeries needed. Her and her loving family.

Was the other dog (assume it was a dog) owner's paying for all the vet bills. Seems like the right thing to do.

They are trying to work it out as far as I know without lawyers. Sometimes that works, sometimes it does not. You need nice people among the parties trying to work together.

The dog was hurt quite badly. Might be rather costly. It was injured by a much bigger dog which animal control removed as far as I know.

Hope the dog recovers soon from the injuries.

What is there to try and work it out? The small dog was mauled by the big dog - the only dialog there should be is the owner of the aggressive dog saying they will pay; case closed....... Prayers for the small pooch.

I feel for any animal that is suffering. Hope for a speedy recovery...

and what if the little fella started the brawl? What responsibility falls on each dog owner?

No. The little one did not start it. She is a very submissive pooch.

Please let us know some details and not leave us with a cliffhanger.
Hopefully the pup is doing better.

I should not post any details until this is resolved in some way or another.

And some of the people involved in some way or another might view TOTV or even be posters.

My friend is a very nice woman and I would just like things to go well for her and her family and her injured pooch.

I will suggest this site too for her if her discussions do not go well. I have no idea how long a dog bite lawsuit might take to reach a settlement if it comes to that.

I do hope they can reach some kind of friendly agreement.

Hope the pooch is doing well and her owner does look at TOTV once in a while. And she is not angry at me for posting this scant information.

This dog attack happened in a neighborhood in the Villages' general vicinity and not at a dog park so the home owners' association would be involved as well.
