Good for them, no need to look like hoochie's, even if I like hoochie's !

Make'em wear Bhurkas!

Topspinmo 07-31-2021 03:39 PM

I agree, too little too much sometimes. :duck: leave’s nothing to imagination.

Woman's Olympic Beach Volleyball outfits and the obvious angle the camera's shot them were a bit obvious. I don't mind what they were wearing just don't see the need to make them wear them.

Do you see the men wearing bikinis to play beach ball in the Olympics? They do in water polo but first, you don’t see it because they’re under water and second, they wear functional swim wear. They still look silly when they come out of the water though.

I was on the swim team at university and I would have found it humiliating to have to wear such a skimpy outfit in public. Although the original Olympians used to compete in the nude. But that was then.

Bhurkas? Horrible comment.

Wearing bikini bottoms is very distracting. I have difficulty following the ball.

The women on the beach volleyball teams are in superb condition, and I appreciate seeing them in their required outfits. Putting shorts on them is like requiring dogs to wear diapers. However, I think the men should be required to wear the same bottoms. They are in great shape, too, after all.

While we are at it, I deplore the new prudery that puts NBA basketball players in the ugliest baggy shorts possible. If they also wore bikini bottoms or Speedos, the number of women watching basketball games would increase by millions. Similarly, the WNBA teams could also gain a lot of viewers with a similar move. Many of us can remember when the NBA uniforms were less prudish. Why are we going backwards? Perhaps in the next Olympics the swimmers will be required to wear 19th century swimsuits.

Why should the Olympic committee care? Performance is what matters. I'm watching to see the skill not a Victoria Secrets runway.

I would think that what ever uniform that does not interfere with athletes abilities should be allowed. Forcing a skimpy uniform could be a TV rating ploy.....

I hope it doesn’t spill over to woman’s high jump…..

I have complained about this for years. If the men are allowed to wear shorts, then why are the women required to wear bikinis? It obviously is not to improve their game. I totally support letting women athletes look like athletes.
