Where is Villages Pl????

I know I debate him hot and heavy and throw some zingers but I don't ever want him not to be O.K.

I hope he has just taken a little vacation.

He hasn't logged on for a week and that is so unusual. Please hurry back, VPL so we can argue.

Villager Joyce 05-29-2015 07:42 AM

VPL, I hope you are ok. No one to argue with so I've had to resort to arguing with my husband. Not good for my marriage.

dewilson58 05-29-2015 08:10 AM

I think it's a sabbatical............researching, studying and getting more ammo. Watch out upon his return.

:faint:

I believe he has gone on a cruise - for vegans only. At all ports of call the 5 passengers disembark to try the local veggies and salad bars. I understand one of the stops is well known for its vegetable smoothies and he hopes to come back and share the recipe on TOTV.

We do miss him though.

Wandatime 05-29-2015 09:15 AM

I've heard of this cruise! Instead of entertainment they have expansive roundtable discussions on a number of dietary subjects, including such diverse subjects as:

Beets -- which are more nutritionally dense, red or yellow, and how to measure
Coffee enemas -- regular or decaf?
Couscouse -- whole grain or pasta in disguise?

Just kidding, VPL!

I was just thinking. Ships these days have Internet service. Has he been banned by the ship?

DonH57 05-29-2015 10:34 AM

Maybe by an unspecific reason he sampled the sausage gravy and biscuits at Hacienda and he's totally stunned. Seriously despite all my past smart aleck comments I hope he's ok.

TheVillageChicken 05-29-2015 10:42 AM

Maybe he lost his veganity.

I crack me up.

LOL. Good one:ho:

graciegirl 05-30-2015 07:27 AM

O.K. I am about to go to the Library and ask questions. Is that stalking?

Dr Winston O Boogie jr 05-30-2015 07:35 AM

I was really surprised that he didn't chime in on the cheese thread. He's probably just tired of arguing with all of we idiots and has given up trying to save us.

:MOJE_whot:
You know that scene in the movies when someone hears a noise from the cellar and someone else says; "Lets go check it out" and you know that things won't end well?

If you go in costume nobody will know who you are. Try dressing up as CF, then she'll get blamed.

She is VERY good looking. And has Crosby. Do you think if I borrowed Crosby she would notice? No. She is still blonde and snappy looking.

CWGUY 05-30-2015 08:17 AM

M.i.a.

 Has anyone noticed "Bonanza" is M.I.A. also? Last activity on
5/22/15. Last post late on 5/20. I read a post from her just after midnight.
That would have been 5/21. That post was removed. I remember thinking at
the time - this will be taken down.

:ohdear: I'm thinking she "may" have been given a time out by the powers to be.

I've heard you're pretty snappy looking yourself. And if she won't let you borrow Crosby, I'll let you borrow Harry.

Taltarzac725 05-30-2015 08:28 AM

I went dark for six days or so from May 16-May 25. Was mesmerized by the sites in Virginia, DC and a very small part of Maryland.

May be taking another trip in a few months.

Maybe, these people went somewhere amazing and are too busy to get to the computers? I still used Facebook though but through someone else posting for me.

Hmmmm.

Villager Joyce 05-30-2015 08:29 AM

How bad do you have to be to be put in the time out box? Are you given a warning(s)?

TOTV Team 05-30-2015 11:11 AM

We always give multiple prior notices before anyone is banned or put in a 'time out'. Only spammers or an extreme situation would result in an immediate ban of an account.

Best Regards,

TOTV Team

I've been worried about VPL, so I'm trying not to laugh at your idea of a Vegan cruise for five passengers.
So funny.

Yes, the entire cruise can be done in an inflatable rubber dinghy, variously known as Zodiacs and Avons. And West Marine has a very good version as well. Some even have fiberglass bottoms and floors. Dogs love them because from their position at the bow they can reach the water with their snouts.

You must have been on one of Jacques Cousteau's undersea adventures.

Is 5 too many to expect? It will be a convention after all.

Yes, we have a large Zodiac at our lake cabin. It would make a perfect cruise ship for five Vegans.
And they could reach the water for occasional drinks with their snouts.
Oh, I just reread your post, you said that dogs could drink from the water, sorry.

May I be so bold to suggest he might be sick?
Hope not, but it is a possibility.

That is what I've been worried about. I think he lives alone.
He lives in the same Village as I do, but I don't know his street address.
Otherwise I would have asked Community Watch to pop by and check on him.
VPL would probably be the first to remind me that it's none of my business.
But on TOTV, we're all friends, and we worry about each other.

I don't know anyone who knows his real name. Would the staff at the library know perhaps?

I would be willing to try. I have even thought of asking the Admin if he was in time out. And then asking if they could find out what his name is and ask community watch to find out if he is o.k.

I hope he is o.k.

We know he doesn't have a computer, smart phone or another way he can get email unless VPL is at the library. I don't know of any other way to reach him unless Admin has a way to help.

Usually the one up by 466, Belvedere, I call it.

Geeze! He's probably on vacation, or having his prostate removed. Honestly, he went away last year too. Gracie welcomed him back.
