Any recommendations for a contractor to install a retractable or roll-up garage screen? I'm new to the villages. Thanks!

just had one install by cool breeze,Very happy and was install in less than a week start to finish.after 1st visit to measure 2nd for install less than 2 hrs. Lonnie and son are ver nice guys.

There are basically 4 types of Garage screens. I recommend the type that are installed by Thumper.

Thumper's Retractable Screen Doors

I have no vested interest here, I just like the quality of this type and have only heard very good things about Thumper.

I like the fact that you do not lose headroom with this type, you cannot accidently drive through it like the roll ups, and you do not lose any width like the sliding types. The one piece types are difficult to open or close with a car inside. Because of these reasons, the one I posted about is the only type I would ever consider.

We had Cool Breeze install both our grave screens and lank screens. We highly recommend them. They do a great job and stand behind their work.

I hate autocorrect.........garage screens and lanai screens........had to laugh at that one.

Had Michelle's install a Lifestyle Screen door on our garage and love it . It is nice to be able to have a door to walk out of while the screen is down. Free est and no pressure.

I find his service to be of high quality meaning he responds quickly . Best of all he is a man you can actually do business with a handshake. His kids are the same way. He installed my door over six years ago and its was worth every dollar I spent on it and his service and many of my neighbors also deal with him and say the exact same thing

I would like a one piece that goes up, but would like a door in the center so I don't have to lift screen to go in our out. any suggestions on who installs this type?

Michelle's is the only one I know that installs the "LifeStyle Garage door" Which is what you are referring to.

Cool Breeze installed our garage screen yesterday. We found their pricing good, their commitments were met on time, and installed quickly and efficiently. The screen is beautiful and is very quiet when in operation. You cannot see into the garage from the street, but when standing in the garage, you can see outside clearly, allowing you privacy. Very happy we used Cool Breeze!

Does anyone do a screen that goes up/down but has a walkout door in the middle. Don't like the ones that slide right to left.

Another vote for Thumper. I was so pleased with their work I had them put the same screen on my lanai which gives me privacy during daylight hours.
