Hillary Clinton on immigration.
Hillary Clinton - Position on Immigration
Got to get some other positions on immigration than the Donald's up here. I doubt if any Democratic contender wants illegal immigrants who commit crimes to be kept in the country. |

"....illegal immigrants who commit crimes..." :1rotfl: Hilarious! |
Hilary will say whatever she feels will get her more votes, like any other politician. On the other hand, who would believe her?

Examples of Serious Crimes of Illegal Aliens
OK. Serious crimes. I suppose Trump wants to deport everyone who has even got a parking ticket. Does anyone realize how difficult Trump's plan is to send back all the undocumented aliens in the US is. And then keep them all out? |

"Difficult" but not impossible. We have had three presidents that did mass deportations in the past. With the technology we have today, it is a viable and necessary procedure. A good immigration policy is important to national security. As far as your comment regarding "...deport everyone who has even got a parking ticket" is concerned, they should not be driving in our country anyway and that is just another law they are breaking. So, you can be facetious if you wish, but we are a country of laws, regardless of what Hilary believes. |

Now they're caught, what other time would you you suggest? amazing how some laws can be over looked for votes |
No. It is amazing to think that everything that is being done is being done for votes. That flies both ways. There was a Senate bipartisan bill that died in the House. Now, Trump is pushing that every illegal should be deported. That is getting traction from the right. Now, many of the Republican candidates are marching in line with him. Aren't they doing that for votes?

Enforcing the current immigration laws would help the economy. If anyone that hired an illegal was arrested and fined, there would be no jobs for Illegals. They would go home on their own, or do like some of them and become career criminals. And instead of deporting hardened criminals, we should lock those suckers up like we would any other scumbag criminal. |

Hoover = 121,000 deported Truman = 3.4 MILLION Eisenhower = 2.1 Million That was without the advanced technology we have now. So, it can be done. For the liberals, think of how much we would save on health care... |
For old people, think how much that would cost social security, and Medicare.
No. Americans don't want to get rid of illegals immigrants. White right wing Republicans do. |

When you enter the U.S. Illegally you have committed a crime no matter your country of origin! |

You really think that only white right wing Republicans want to remove illegals? If you are that naive, then you better do a bit more browsing of the Internet. Google is your friend, especially liberals. Your comment is baseless, totally without merit. Totally ludicrous. Even the polls don't support you. 60% or more feel that the U.S. is not aggressive enough on illegal aliens. And the more Trump talks the more folks support his view. If you are going to Troll, at least have enough skill to research your Huffington Post before coming on here. |
Hillary is in trouble. It seems that only the ultra liberal left wing are still supporting her. Old time Democrats are disappointed and disgusted with her. They are still waiting for someone to come out of the woodwork to give them some semblance of a voting platform. But, it's still a long way until election day.

Please read the book called "Postville, A Clash of Cultures". Very good book and tells what happened to one town in Iowa in such a circumstance. |

What is the point of using the hate filled terms you use. You are the first to call others names so quickly with absolutely no discussion of the issue raised. I, personally, find your lack of adult contributions to any forum to be obscene. Yes, without calling me names, illegals pay into the Social Security "suspense" fund. It is called suspense because almost all of it is based on false or expired social security numbers thus there is no record of the individual. Immigration policy will not be settled by our President making arbitrary proclamations and please dont refer to the senate passed immigration bill that he alludes to in all his political speeches because that was just another of "my way or the highway" deals. It made no reference at all to enforcing US law at the borders. What you children are doing, ie., calling names and making snide comments, is also happening in Washington by so called adults. Lost in all this rhetoric going on by both sides of he aisle is a point, highlighted this week by Scott Walker this past week when he said...... "Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker says he’s not taking a position on whether people born in the United States should automatically be granted citizenship, saying the southern border must first be secured and laws enforced before dealing with other aspects of immigration policy." Scott Walker: Need to secure the border, enforce laws before talking about birthright citizenship - Washington Times Now I am no fan of Scott Walker at all, but he said it, albeit maybe in error in a clear manner. You and the other children who want to call names must realize. NO SOLUTION TO IMMIGRATION WITHOUT BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE TALKING AND TALKING FRANKLY. It is much to complicated to start with and you cannot do what the President did and simply sign something and say that is it. You also cannot simply throw out cliches. SOMEDAY, these people will learn, perhaps in the wrong way, that there needs to be discussion and the hate filled statements in the post I am responding to have go to stop. There has to be an adult in the room somewhere ! Secure the border...then sit down and talk non stop on how to solve this problem. We have this problem for a number of reasons, primarly being we have not, nor do so in the present, enforce our US laws at all. I have always said that this country was founded on the rule of law, and if we abide by that premise, all problems can be solved. So, for you hate filled folks...study up and lets talk about what we do AFTER WE SECURE OUR BORDERS. But ,adults do not call names. |
More blathering from the right wing nut Scott Walker. He has no idea of what to do so let's just say "Secure the border".
Who would do your scut work in factories, services, or other jobs that American will not do? If the illegals do not do them, these places will either go out of business or YOU will pay a whole lot more for those services and goods. Once again, read, "Postville, A Clash of Cultures". You will learn the consequences of the actions you want to accomplish. |

You read that entire post, all the links and all you respond with is a "shot" on Walker. Reference to Walker was incidental. WOW..no wonder we have problems |

Why you do insist on protecting criminals? Are you anti-American? |

What have the younger generation contributed so far? Gave meaning to the term "Freeloaders." Initiated vulgar language into prime time TV. Never mind, I can't think of anything that they contributed in a positive way. I believe I am starting to "evolve" my opinion regarding abortion. Maybe legalize post natal abortions....:pepper2: |
Secure the border, and then talk non stop the immigration problem. Boehner tried to sell that nonsense. Breakup up the immigration bill into parts. The first part being securing the border. Everyone knew there would never be a second step.
The Senate immigration bill was take it or leave it. It was reported in many places that the Senate bill would have been approved, if it was put on the House floor for a vote. Nobody was twisting anybody's arm. President Obama acted, because he knew nothing would ever get done with the current state of politics. As long as the Republicans keep this hard line nothing is going to get done on immigration including building a beautiful 2,000 mile 20 foot high fence. |
Everyone knows that you can't bail the water from a boat successfully until you stop the leak. The border leak has to be stopped first before you can do anything about the criminal invaders that saturate our country.
The Dems policy when given a task that sound tough, is to just legalize it and tax it. Then see if they can get some more votes out of it. Make it look like they accomplished something historic and pat themselves on the back. My plan: Secure the border Prosecute anyone hiring an illegal Any illegals still in our country after the work dries up, can be deported unless they commit another crime in our country. If so, then they are tried and imprisoned like any other common criminal. It really is as simple as that. Cost? Sure, but we waste money on stupid grants for studies all the time. Take the money out of foreign aid. Tell the countries that there will be a moratorium on foreign aid until we get control of the flow of illegals into our country. |

ENFORCE THE LAW...you would think that the President of the United States, who took an oath relative to US law, would be the first to say that. |
Secure the border, and then talk non stop the immigration problem. Boehner tried to sell that nonsense. Breakup up the immigration bill into parts. The first part being securing the border. Everyone knew there would never be a second step.
This is the response to that quote. Securing the border is NONSENSE ? I am glad that this GUEST thing exists because if I knew who said enforcing US law was nonsense, I could never forget that username. Please explain to the Guest, where it says that securing the border was nonsense! Capitalizing nonsense. Stupidity always needs a touch, and capitalization is that nice touch. |
Secure the Mexican border with a huge wall. Round up and deport all 11 million illegals. Intrepret the Constitution to say children born in the USA are not citizens.
All very good ideas. ...and the Republicans wonder why they cannot get a higher number of the important Hispanic voting bloc. Come on, you need the Hispanics to help you win the White House in 2016. |
Is the suggest being made or the statement inferred that the Mexicans that are here legally or are now citizens are for everything that is happening illegaly with their contrymen?
If yes, would that further suggest that things like race, gender, religion or political party are all that matters and even if the participants are illegal, immoral or unethical that is OK with them? That is what it is starting to look and sound like. Clinton...dishonest! Unethical? Liar? Presidential candidate? Mexican aliens.....no visa? Illegal border crossing? Illegal oresence in the USA? Still able to enjoy same rights (or more) as legal and natural citizens! I may be naieve but I just don't think people abandon right from wrong because of their race, religion, gender or political party. The radicals, those who follow blindly it is expected....but they should be in the minority.....I continue to hope. |

I guess I'm wondering who would do the same kind of work that illegals do for farmers, cleaning business, and restaurants...at the pay they get... surely not the average American boy on the street!

As you can see, those demographics go to the Democratic Party. As for you living in The Villages, good for you. It obviously is a bastion of Republican voters who are just living out their remaining days spouting off their rants while being fed their pills and having their Depends changed by their caregiver. Check out the world outside your bubble firsthand and you just might change viewpoints on topics. |

You must be really scared of The Villages if you find the need to troll our little blog with your rants and slurs. Yes, we do live in a bubble. How nice it is! Someday, when you get old enough, you can join us. We don't make it a prerequisite that you be conservative, just civil. By the way, addressing your peevish little rant about "being fed" our pills, I can proudly say that I take no medicine other than daily vitamins. Hope you can still say that when you reach my age. If you live that long. |
The Republican nominee will need to garner at least 40 percent of the Hispanic vote in order to win in 2016. That is a high mark to hope for considering that Romney got only 23 percent of the Hispanic vote. Trump's outrageous comments are not going to make him popular with Hispanics and that rings true with comments from other candidates as well.
