If the vote was held today, I would vote for (choose 1 only, and only 10 choices avail - so if they are not listed go to your #2):

Guest 12-11-2015 04:19 PM

Either Bernie or Hillory.

Guest 12-11-2015 09:26 PM

Rand Paul or Bernie. Only honest ones I've seen to date

Dear Guest:

I do not find a list of 10 to choose from?
Are we voting for a nomination or in the general election?

In either case my vote for both the nomination and general election would be a write-in vote for Mitt Romney.

Dear Guest: You do know both of these candidates would bankrupt this nation and one would result in people expressing one another as comrade?

If I thought that it would get it done, then I would vote for Romney also. But, I have to be realistic, so I will have to vote for the Republican that has the best chance of winning against the liberal, anti-American trash.

There is no list on here, making it impossible to choose.

But, my choice would be ANYONE other than Sanders or Billary.

And you know this, how? Has either said this is their goal?

Now, take a look at Cruz. Wait, Ted Cruz wants to nuke ISIS? - Salon.com
How is he not in the "not be taken seriously category"? Now, only half the Senate hates the president. If we elect this guy, everyone in the Senate will hate the president. Now, this is progress.

I am for Kasich. If he doesn't become the Republican nominee, Donald Duck would be a good choice. Just think of the power Kasich had. He was in a two person in Ohio working for Lehman Bros. In this position, he was able to promote himself to the board of Lehman Bros., and help to bring down the economy. We know everything Trump says is the truth. This had to be the case. Just think how much Kasich could do if he used this power for the good of the country.

All joking aside, we need a president that will work with the other party to get things done. He is that person. The Republicans will not work with Hillary. That is a given. They would probably start the impeachment process right out of the gate.

Yep, she will be the best president ever to have served from behind bars in prison.

Guest 12-12-2015 10:44 AM

Democrats are dishonest and unethical. Anyone that would vote for Clinton, is endorsing criminal behavior. The lack of morality in the Democrat party is not a surprise, considering they voted for slick Willy for a second term, AFTER they knew him.

Guest 12-12-2015 12:04 PM

In 2012 there were the whimsy candidates that had their run. Bachmann, Cain, Gingrich, Santorum. But there was always Mitt Romney in the wings that could be counted on to be a strong candidate and winner. Who is in the wings now?

Guest 12-12-2015 12:29 PM

I thought this was a Poll with a ballot list to pick one from, and tallying to show actual numbers, NOT just more junior high taunting and smearing with no substance.

Further proof this political forum is a waste.

Tom Ridge ex governor ex head of Department of Homeland when asked if trump were the nominee would he vote for him. He said no. then Neil Cavuto asked if it would be Hillary. he said no. He finally confessed given those limited choices he would not vote.

My rationale is to insert in any publication and to the RNC, etc that Mitt Romney needs to enter the debate. Because he is far better than the best offered this time around. I will not lose my right to vote and I would rather vote with a write in than not vote at all

Bring back Sarah Palin. She can always bring humour to a situation since she is a half-term clown governor.

I am going to enjoy casting my vote for Hillary Clinton. Some day I might even get my US citizenship but until then will rely on my driver license.

You are entitled to your opinion. You have three choices here. You can provide your own list, since it appears none was provided. You can not participate, and not read the postings. Or, you can suck it up, like an adult and ignore the juveniles and contribute your opinion. After all, that's all this is, opinion. It's kind of refreshing not to have to worry about being thrown off of here because of PC decorum. Either way, have a great day.

I am the GUEST that opened this Thread - but the posting was not public for a couple days. An hour after opening I asked the Moderator, thru a question, why it wasn't opened and I could not open Threads - note on my profile or such. Then I had a notice not to respond to others by name - I NEVER DID - I was very civil etc on the general discussion. Some Moderator is extremely quick on the trigger (their LEFT trigger). Then a couple days ago, I see this Thread WITHOUT my list of the top 10 candidates. OH WELL, not worth the effort now.... sorry - would have been interesting......

I know that Bernie's plans are out of control, but Hillary? If she is a Obama do over, his spending hasn't been out of control in the past few years. The first few years, he was dealing with the great recession, and we are not going to rehash hat.

One of the reasons that I will vote for Kasich was him accepting Medicaid under the ACA. He put the people that needed health insurance ahead of pure politics. If a person that puts people ahead of politics a Rhino maybe we should have more rhinos.

Just because you are a healthy young person doesn't mean you make enough money to pay for health insurance, if the company you work for doesn't provide it. Since people without health insurance are using the emergency ward as their primary care physician, would you rather wait for a doctor at his office, or at an emergency ward due to the number of uninsured seeking medical help there.

Just curious, if a Republican In Name Only is a Rhino, where does the H come in. Just to correct spelling?

Dear Guest: You do know that Obama spending was more than the last four presidents combined? You do know OBAMACARE is about to go broke? you do know our medical system is breaking down and doctors are giving up their private practice to become employees of hospitals, etc? You do know that some doctors won't accept insurance and make their patients pay cash and then go file for insurance reimbursement on their own?
You do know that of a result of Kaisch medicaid expansions patients are on a waiting list as long as those in Great Britian and they had to request from the Red Cross to help alleviate their back log.

Finally as to RHINO (RINO) my apology as I use RHINO as a play on words, someting that you did not know and I should have explained. Well there is no better time than now. RHINO has two meanings for me Republicans In Name Only and RHINO taken from the propane mfg and meaning politicians full of hot air.

I also liked Kasich in the beginning. Have been following him for several years. But, lately he has sounded overwhelmed and desperate. He is old school political, but that isn't helping him right now, and I believe it is just a matter of time before he drops out.

I can't see how Obama has spent more than the last four president combined. The charts that I looked at shows spending under Obama being about 3.5 trillion a year. "W" average is about 2.5 trillion. That would mean 1 trillion more per year times 7 or seven trillion dollars. Reagan (8 years), Bush I (4 years), and Clinton (8 Years), and they only spent 7 trillion over 20 years? This chart shows the percentage increase under Obama as being 1.4% average.

There are two ways to look at the waiting period to see a doctor. People, who didn't have insurance, were using the emergency ward as their primary care physician. Now, that they have insurance, they are taking care of themselves by seeing a primary care physician on a regular basis. Rural hospitals were going out of business, because the uninsured were using their emergency wards for minor ailments, and not paying their bills. There were some areas of the country that you would have to drive over 100 miles to get to a hospital.

The parts of Obamacare that aren't working should be repealed, but not the entire law.

Thanks for your explanation of the word RHINO/RINO. I guess Kasich falls into the second spelling, and Trump in the first. Trump is a politician.

The Obama administration will have doubled the national debt by the time he leaves office. He is only a trillion bucks away now and there is no way he is going to keep it below that by 9/30/2017.

After Obama took office in Jan 2009 and giving him the benefit of not counting anything before 9/30/2009 against him, the national debt was $11,909,829,003,511.75
The national debt on 12/10/2015 was $18,762,069,058,578.88 and counting. Very near $19 trillion today. Obama is responsible for the debt through 9/20/2017 so please explain to me how he is going to avoid that stigma of doubling the national debt?

You are really missing some important points with your spending graph as the groundwork for much of that spending was committed to before Obama took office. You also forget the giant busting budget just passed by the republican controlled house and a big transportation bill they passed without paying for it. Easy to forget though when you're making a poor point is it not?

Guest 12-14-2015 05:43 PM

I think the intent of the OP is to find out who would get the vote today. As usual replies meander on to Obama who, contrary to some rumors, is not running. Evidently there are a lot of undecideds.
