the generals are rubble
Enough said from a buffoon. Backers of trump, is this what you think of our military?

Yet again we are in a war with no goal
Quote:
We are fighting the war that our enemy wants. That is simply stupid. The enemy looks exactly the same as the people on our side. Individually they readily change from one side to the other. They hide among civilians and so if we fire on them we cause collateral damage. Our people want to do their job AND COME HOME ALIVE. Their faith says if they die spreading the faith the reward is salvation. We,due to politically correctness, refuse to follow tactics that would have any chance of winning. We, refuse to understand the Muslim enemy we cannot understand why a woman would strap a bomb to her body walk into a group of people they call infidels (nonbelievers) and blow herself up with as many non-Muslims as possible. The reason is it gets her salvation. It absolves all previous sins such as cheating on her husband etc. Clearly, we have a problem. Even at home we have Muslims among us several who have attacked innocent civilians-world trade center-they killed 3,000, Boston bombers killed and injured over 100, Orlando, France. It is quite clear that KUBAYAH does not work. SOLUTION-I DON'T HAVE ONE. Perhaps, as has been done in the past, we need to kill off the entire family of these bombers so they will not be remembered-they just disappear. Who knows-perhaps like in Ireland one day a leader will arrive and wonder what the hell people are killing each other for. In Ireland it only took 300 years. |
ok, any general that wouldn't follow Obama thinking was dumped, the only ones left are YES men.
therefore he made that statement meaning they are feckless |

You can't have it both ways.
If you think the generals are rubble and too stupid to lead or provide informed input then say so. If you believe that Trump knows more then the generals, that's a valid opinion that Trump supporters share by default. You don't respect the generals, question their motives and how they were even promoted. |

Our television set broke down yesterday. That bl**dy Obama!

My TV went out briefly three times yesterday with the power outage. We had a small rain shower that may have been related, but it hardly even watered anything. The power outage was enough to cause the TV and computer to reboot, but didn't reset the clocks in the house. Go figure. |
How can anyone object to a president that desires to build our military defense . The most effective way to ensure peace is to be the nation with the strongest defense.

We already spend more on our military...than the next 7 nations in the world combined! We have enough nukes to destroy the planet's population twice over. What should be happening is that we start keeping our nose out of the worlds business that isn't a direct threat to the freedom of this nation (and there hasn't been a war/conflict since WW2 that meets that criteria) and start taking care of those that are injured from war-hawks supporting the military-industrial complex. Of which, Obama has actually INCREASED care (and pay) to our fine men and women that the politicians like to use as pawns... Budget: Obama proposes big increase in VA funding - U.S. - Stripes Quote:
.....while the Repugnatcans have fought him the whole way. Republicans block Senate bill to boost veterans' benefits - CSMonitor.com Quote:
And with Chump's ignorant rhetoric of "why can't we use nukes" and "I know more than the generals" ...you really think he's the answer? Really?  CNM |

question how do you feel we've been doing under Obama for 8 years with only looking at a continuation of 4 more with her? Do you think we are safer from terrorism? Do you think if we let 650,000 Syrians in without anyway to do a background check is a good idea? She just telegraphed her plan to ISIS no ground troupes, they then can operate unchecked without fear of reprisal. |
Any real patriotic flag officer worth their salt will not stand very long to work for someone that will not allow them to do their job. They are not going to hang around allowing rag tag disoriented pi$$ants kill their men and women or win the situation.
Those guys are gone willing or not....they are gone. What is left are the politicians; their allegiance to a failed leader is no matter to them. Losing to the enemy or loosing lives of their forces are so far from where they are mentally and physically it does not factor into the equation. So people do not like when Trump calls a spade a spade. Or how he does it. They will always make it into something other than intended. What if there are good generals but just not doing their job for America? THEY ARE NOT DOING THEIR JOB FOR AMERICA!!!!!!! If they are still in the job, there is no place for them on a new winning team. Trump is as usual more right than wrong and that is what the opposition detests. I would rather put up with what and how Trump says things than what Clinton has done and is doing and mostly NOT doing. |
Well said:agree:

Liberals would go to the prisons to hire teachers for their children. It's exactly the same thing. Even though Hillary has not been convicted YET, she is still corrupt and a criminal. And they want her to lead the country. Kind of like putting Al Capone in charge of a bank. Or hiring David Duke to head up the NAACP. |

Do you not worry why the whispers exist about fear of public support for Trump ? Or public disapproval of Trump ? This is what he has and will so. As we have seen with anyone who disagrees with him he finds a way to, as he says, counterpunch, which means attack them and demean them personally, no matter the counterpoint they want to make, no matter if valid. As we see, if a media member offends him, he immediately attacks and pulls credentials. He tolerates no disagreement..none. Wonder, if elected, how he will "pull the credentials" of any citizen who dares to disagree ? |

Is the title correct? Isn't it supposed to say "Barney Rubble is a general"

I am curious why, within our 3 bodies of government and system, you find it comfortable to have a person with such aspirations in the Oval Office ? I ask that in all sincerity, because you surely know that the trade deals he speaks of must come through congress, basically most of which he has or will offend. |
Is it 4 years of string bluster you want with no chance of accomplishing anything ? President can drop bombs, well for 60 days anyway, but that's it

Something we won't get with Hillary, and which we haven't had for almost 8 years! |

Strong in what way ? Are you hoping for a term of loud bluster.....congress needs to pass any trade deals...they need to approve any spending, like for.a wall for example. President cannot do this arbitrarily. If it is the strong bluster you hope for to get some kind of tester one kick...that is why ALL terrorist organizations are rooting for that...a fantastic recruiting tool. Is the bluster to scare congress into approving tariffs on Mexico and China to increase not only our prices, but inflation ? They may object as they need to get elected. Building the military to Reagan levels as he likes to say..why ? This is not 1980...just apply common sense and he can't do that without congress no matter who he insults. If he talks tough to any country leader...is that what you are looking for ? Well, we spent many years trying to reduce the nuclear threat, and today Trumps press lady "implied" what Trump might do about North Korea, is that what you guys are rooting for...just bomb somebody..use a nuke...show them who is boss ? Well, just hope action like that does not have any kind of domino affect because you and the kids won't be here to celebrate...you do know should he do that, it will violate a ton of international laws and they will be "justified" in reprisal. Is that the testosterone fix you look for ? |

It just appears that those that support Trump want a big mouth to give them some masculine jolt. They are searching for a crass, filthy mouthed, characterless, morally corrupt person to represent their country. Why ? What does that get you...
Seems they want a man who ALL foreign countries now know as a liar, a man they can irritate, a man they cannot trust. So much for not letting people know much |
