Although I like the fact that Assange exposed the Clintons and their supporters for what they are, I find it a bit disconcerting tat someone could possibly get a hold of sone of out top secret classified information with no accountability.

I fear that Mr Assange has become or will become too powerful and want to rule the world.

So the Dems spent 1.3 Billion on their campaign, but were to cheap or stupid to have first class firewall built to protect their emails.

The Rep didn't get broken/hacked into, guess they know how to built a better mouse trap.

Imagine if those emails weren't exposed what the public would never know.

I agree. And I also believe that Edward Snowden ought to be tried as a traitor if he returns to this country. As you probably have observed he has been treated ad nauseam as a hero/celebrity by the left.

However what I find even more troubling is that outside hackers seem to be the only people who make the wrong doing of our national leaders public. Where are the Bernsteins and Woodwards

The news media's function is to be truth tellers, fact finders irrespective of party religion etc. However they are heavily biased on the left, some misinforming, others not informing at all while others making stories up as they go along. Fact checking is a joke because we need fact checkers to check fact checkers who in turn need fact checkers......

I can tell you that anything I post has been at least triple checked. I actually mean I check at least three separate sources AND THE SOURCE it self before posting it.

I posted a number of links on here today about the possibility and discussion on the appointment of the Dept HHS (Price) and the medicaire situation. The responss ignored those links totally with no comment. I do not give any wishy washy links and if I do and am called on it, I will come on here and apologize. I have even apologized in advance if my source was good but not great. I also never ever steal their words and use as mine. I always cut and paste so that you and others can read it in context.

Perhaps you and I have different aims on this forum and in life.

My aim is to learn and share...FACTS. Not to simply sign on and attack the side I do not normally agree with, first because I know that neither conservative nor liberal is 100% right. Second, the continuation of that simply adds to the divide in this country.

I prefer to share what I find and my opinion on that.

Here is the problem. I try to share and then get back a reply simply aimed to denegrate a person or trump up Trump, or deenegrate a movement, right or left.

I just assumed you knew the difference between BROADCAST NEWS and CABLE NEWS. I suspect you should look into that before posting on this again because you just look more ignorant than I thought.

The differences between the two are HUGE and you referenced in your original post CABLE NEW CHANNELS, which incorporate more "shows" than news and must fill 24 hours a day. BROADCAST NEWS, by the way is limited in time and scope 5 days a week.

AS FOR Fox reference you made, I find that humurous.

That's a good idea about truth, but that is all in the beholder. On a political forum, posters basically submit either links, statements of fact or opinions. Similar to a commentary. Surely, you don't expect every post to be direct quotes from news sources, when there is a gathering of folks to discuss current political events?
