New homes being built

I am curious to find out if they are starting to build homes west of Bailey Trail and if not where are the new developements.

l2ridehd 08-07-2009 08:31 AM

Built, sold, and occupied. Probably 50% or more completed.

Russ_Boston 08-07-2009 08:37 AM

Yes - some very nice locations over there.

I do a lot of walking in the Village of Pennecamp and I am amazed how quickly the houses are going up. It is a beautiful area. In my dreams I would love to own a Premier home in Pennecamp by the lake.

Pennecamp is bee-yu-tee-ful!!!!

My DREAM house is either the model of the St. Augustine or the Sanibel in Pennecamp. Gorgeous interiors and to die for view. WOW.

Do I have any rich uncles?

Naw. I think all of my kinda " paid their bills" uncles exited stage right some time ago.

Does anyone know ...

Is there a recent map anywhere (on one page) showing each of the villages by name that make up The Villages? Not a street map, just a map showing all the Villages.

I used to know where to find it, but I've lost it! ... So easy to do at my age.

Barefoot:

I haven't tried this, but the relatively new Saturday Supplement to the Daily Sun called The Mix contains the kind of map you want. Probably viewable on line.

There's a North edition and a South edition.

The Sales Center has $5 maps

Here is a map that is in PDF fromat that you can download. You will have to enlarge it to be able to read the detail village names. The first is south of 466 and the second is north. If the link does not take you to Districtgov.org then just copy and past the link into your URL line of your browser.

Hawkwind thank you for those websites. I was able to pull them up and enlarge them so now I have a better mental image of where the villages are located. This is really a good place to check out locations.

Thanks Hawkwind. That is a great map! I wanted to see where Pennecamp Village was. Your map shows Villages I didn't know existed .. like Buttonwood. I guess the new villages being built will be in close proximity to the new Town Centre, Brownwood.

villages07 08-09-2009 07:35 AM

Thanks Hawkwind..... first I had seen the villages names of buttonwood and tamarind grove. This map also shows the 5 new exec courses west of buena vista in pretty good detail.

Bare...this map still only shows development north of 466A. There's still another world to come with all that goes in between 466A and 44/44A. Brownwood will be at the southern terminus of the Villages on 44.

TV id building and closing 150-200 homes per month.

I am sure there is one out there for you some where. The 150 per month is their slow mode due to the so called recession. During the go-go years (2 or 3 ago) they were selling, building and closing almost 500 per month. Any contractor on the planet would love to have TV slow business!!!!!

Is TV selling new homes or villas in these villages:
St. James
Tamarind Grove
Buttonwood

Zass38 08-15-2009 10:00 AM

I just bought a Grantham, CYV in Pennecamp Villas ... brand new area. They just put up the sign at the beginning of this week!.

I close on Monday and think that I will be the first to move into that area. Many new villas being built there and space for many more.

we are starting a brnad new villa unit on Baily Trail off of Bassinger now. Still building new homes. The area west of Baily Trail including St. Charles,, Buttonwood and all of that is no where near 50% built. Still building, but mainly focusing on the area's off Odell Circel east of Morse.
Pennecamp would be the spot, espically if you could get the lot on the end of Baypoint Way on the Lake.
