"President Trump revealed highly classified information to the Russian foreign minister and ambassador in a White House meeting last week, according to current and former U.S. officials, who said Trump’s disclosures jeopardized a critical source of intelligence on the Islamic State.

"The information the president relayed had been provided by a U.S. partner through an intelligence-sharing arrangement considered so sensitive that details have been withheld from allies and tightly restricted even within the U.S. government, officials said."

"The partner had not given the United States permission to share the material with Russia, and officials said Trump’s decision to do so endangers cooperation from an ally that has access to the inner workings of the Islamic State. After Trump’s meeting, senior White House officials took steps to contain the damage, placing calls to the CIA and the National Security Agency."

I SO hope this story is not as it's being reported, because if it is...the man-child is even scarier than thought. :oops:

While the POTUS can declassify anything at anytime, without breaking the law, telling the Russians something (if the story is true) that we haven't even told our own trusted allies, just to brag about how 'great' our intelligence is...stretches comprehension.

The future fallout from our allies, who may now be reluctant to share important intel that we need because they're afraid the POTUS may go around bragging about it...could become a real issue.

Now of course Crooked Hillary's personal server with classified documents is not as grave as this. Those documents would endanger Americans, if Trump passed along something it could jeopardize a relationship with an informant!

What Trump did is not impeachable but sure was stupid. However, he never had any government experience at all and unfortunately it is causing our great country to go from one crisis to another. Trump made millions as a business man but is making one mistake after another as POTUS. We can only hope POTUS doesn't make a "critical" one.

By the way, our country ALWAYS, on a day to day basis pass on classified information to foreign entities. It is up to the leaders to decide what they wish to share. And Trump is the ultimate classification authority.
