I’ve often wondered why educated clergy such as the Jesuits believe in god. Surely they are of above average IQ yet a part of their brain denies logical thought. Therefore, they and the republicans have a serious affective thought disorder.

I believe the more important question to be answered is why are so many progressives prone to lie, bear false witness, spew hate and deceit, indulge in schadenfreude,
invent non-existent rights, demand equal outcomes, embrace abnormalities as being normal, murder the unborn, etc.

Scientists have been warning of the next great plague. If only the Bill Gates of this world would use their great wealth to educate the most populous nations, such as India and some in Africa, about birth control, I think it would help.
