Living in TV is hilarious

On my news email this morning there was a story about a man stealing an ambulance from the ER because he was tired of waiting and right under that a complaint about dogs dancing at the town square. You can't make this stuff up! :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

You are absolutely right. I love living here. The drunks and the younger old, they keeps things hopping. Never a dull moment....EXCEPT when posters write over a thousand words.............

DonH57 03-08-2018 02:46 PM

A Villager told the Amenity Authority Committee on Wednesday morning that dogs should not be allowed on the dance floors at the town squares.

Villager said the squares should be reserved for people.

It was in the Villages News this morning

tomwed 03-08-2018 03:24 PM

thank you
I'll need to think about this. I don't have a dog in this fight.

My Post 03-08-2018 03:27 PM

Why would you want your dog to be in that situation anyway. It could get stepped on.

rustyp 03-08-2018 03:32 PM

August 2015 remember this ? You right - you just can't make this stuff up.

"You know its hot outside when a sweet little ole line dancer lady, punches another dancer in the face........"

tomwed 03-08-2018 03:33 PM

Was there one dog bothering a lot of people or was it a gang sneaking up on many people?

tomwed 03-08-2018 03:35 PM

Did at anytime the dog ask you for your name or little card we all hand out to perspective golfing buddies?

It was dogs from a South American country in a group...some called them a gang. They had a number...what was it..I think something like Kay- nine. Little mutt in a Sombrero was the leader...(I tried to spell chiwawa.) Name was George but pronounced differently.

tomwed 03-08-2018 03:38 PM

Did the dog have alcohol on his breadth? I know it's presumptuous of me to think you got that close but we are friends now so you may feel at liberty to answer.

No, just on his width.

I think it's because the dog didn't know the dance steps.

tomwed 03-08-2018 03:43 PM

Good point Gracie. Did the dog bark like Antonio Banderas? He has quite the reputation with women from Spanish Springs if you know what I mean.

We all know they will print anything

tomwed 03-08-2018 03:53 PM

I have a lot more questions but I don't want this thread to be closed down just because I'm a silly man who asks a lot of silly questions.

fw102807 03-08-2018 04:03 PM

I would never bring my dog down there because he has 2 left feet.

tomwed 03-08-2018 04:09 PM

I knew a dog name Eileen that had two left feet.

tomwed 03-08-2018 04:11 PM

ooops - not everyone is from NJ

manaboutown 03-08-2018 04:22 PM

It never stops. Two women lunching together at Sweet Tomatoes got into a name calling match which ended when one slapped the other and were pulled apart. Unmentionable news. Rock and Roll! Lol.

I find it interesting that everyone jumped on the dancing dog story but no one said a word about the guy who stole an ambulance!

I see it as the guy who took the ambulance was totally frustrated and feeling terrible and made a spur of the moment bad decision to solve a ride home problem. As for the dog dancers, their owner left the house with the purpose of I'm going to parade my dog around the dancers and public tonight for what ? Exercise for the dog or get attention to themselves. Which person is more psychotic ?

Very good question. To me both situations are very bizarre and the stuff sitcoms are made of.

The article said...

“He was upset because he was just put in the hallway to wait and was not being seen at the hospital,” the deputy wrote in the arrest report.
I think the dearth of comments in this thread, is attributable to so many other threads...lamenting the same frustration. :D

I cracked up about how the ambulance had a gps so they were able to watch him the whole time, including when he parked the ambulance in the driveway of his neighbor’s home, who he was mad at...because she had previously called law enforcement on him. :clap2:

And maybe the funniest part was that he was found in the trunk of a car...in his own garage! :1rotfl:

Wesh2 said the guy was drunk. I don't know if they checked his breadth though.

They are both lovely and skillful.

So he was upset over a long wait in the emergency room? Welcome to the party pal!

Should have driven himself to Leesburg with sirens blasting

I can easily top that with.... A few months ago a guy was dancing with a Miniature Pony @Brownwood " Rocky and The Rollers " provided the music.

People dancing with a dog @ the Squares is not unusual.
