What is your favorite "Seinfeld" episode?

Seinfeld | WikiSein | Fandom

I have been watching some of the Seinfeld episodes. Are there some you would especially recommend?

The hour long The Boyfriend with Keith Hernandez was quite funny.

STELLLLLA, STELLA!

One of our sons named our Granddaughter Stella after a wife's family member. We about died laughing when we heard the name.

I never watched one episode of Seinfeld until the Final Show. Couldn't understand for the life of us why people loved it so much. We get it now. There really are no bad episodes. The Chinese Restaraunt was great also.

drpepper 08-01-2020 04:45 AM

Soup Nazi or either of the last 2 eps.

Stu from NYC 08-01-2020 05:03 AM

Soup nazi for sure

All of them.

Episode where George thinks he is having heart attack and they go see Tor Eckman, the "healer." Watching George insist he has a right to a heart attack like everyone else is wonderful. And when Eckman starts his healing session, I cannot stop laughing.

"Master of Your Domain"

I had watched the first episode of Seinfeld, which I recall being about people watching the obituaries to try to get rent-controlled apartments as they opened up. Never having lived in a really large city, I just couldn't relate and didn't bother watching it after that. My college buddies kept saying how funny it was and when 3 of us got together for a few days in Chicago, we watched the "Master of Your Domain" episode and I thought I was gong to break something internally as I was falling on the floor laughing so hard. I became an instant convert.

Another great episode was "Mansier vs. Bro". Another one was... well, I could go on.

Wish they would get back together awesome show and just loved my favorite mail carrier Newman

DAIII 08-01-2020 07:46 AM

Season 3 Episode 9

The Nose Job , and Babs Kramer. (specifically) when the landlord says this line to describe Kramer's mom:

The woman used to walk around here half naked, sucking Colt 45 from a

can. Her big fat stomach hanging out, orthopedic hose up to her knees,

screaming down the hall, "Come back to bed, Albert, you big hairy ape, and bring

back that box of Danish!"

davem4616 08-01-2020 07:51 AM

tough to choose....Soup Nazi stands out for me

So many favorites so little time. I would have to say my favorite was the episode where Kramer put the Merv Griffin stage he found in a dumpster and set it up in his apartment. And when Jerry, Elaine and George came over he was treating them like “guest” on his show and talking to a “camera”.

LG999 08-01-2020 07:56 AM

ALL!
If you have never been to NYC some of the humor may not make sense as one person mentioned the rent control apartments. The writers are genius and the cast fit together so well. They take everyday incidents or tasks that occur in daily life so most can instantly relate and just embellish it in a way that you can not stop laughing.

difficult to choose the FAV - easy to choose the WORST...The 2-part FINALE. Horrible and terrible, even the cast and crew admitted that after being panned.

Forgot about this GEM: Seinfeld | The Contest - Kramer's out! S4 E11 - YouTube :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

How did they keep from laughing? Must have been about a hundred attempts to tape this scene. Kramer just kills me.

actually they taped in front of a live audience, and some was canned>>>
.google>
Yes, a combination of laugh track and live audience was used during the filming of Seinfeld. ... But then there was various scenes where the filming was done in the streets, in that parts a pre-recorded laugh track was used.

Occasionally, my wife pulls a "Kramer." She warms a sweater or something in the dryer before putting it on. Naturally, I call her Kramer or Cosmo for the rest of the day.

Was shocked at how bad the finale was. A great show but did go downhill a bit when Larry David left.

Decadeofdave 08-01-2020 11:45 AM

Any episode at" Del Boca Vista phase 2" retirement community in Florida!

Taltarzac725 08-01-2020 01:09 PM

Love Curb Your Enthusiasm which is Larry David's work.

The episode where Jerry goes in the bakery to buy a Babka and they run out. Or courtroom episode where Jackie Chiles, the lawyer, says a Bra has to fit, like a glove! Hilarious

Doro22 08-01-2020 04:25 PM

Loved most all episodes. Except that final show. Big letdown.

Loved them all except for final show. Guess because it felt sad being the end of an era. But now we both laugh more than we did originally.

I put a bit more thought about this, and....remember the India "backwards" episode? It was SO inventive, episode starting at the end and as it continues, unfolds why past scenes occured - like the all-day sucker that Kramer had that grew in scenes ... I googled:

The famous "backwards episode". Elaine decides to spite her old college roommate Sue Ellen Mischkie by taking Jerry and George to India to attend Sue Ellen's wedding. Elaine repeatedly reveals secrets about her past when Jerry discovers the combination to Elaine's "vault". Jerry runs in to an ex-flame - Nina, who is a "great conversationalist". George wears boots that alter his height to impress Nina and doesn't use the bathroom the entire time they are in India. Meanwhile, Kramer has a nasty encounter with a man named Franklin Delano Romanowski who tells him to drop dead.

I can’t stop watching Steinfeld and two and 1/2 men.

Taltarzac725 08-01-2020 08:37 PM

I will have to watch some of these mentioned Seinfeld episodes. They are available on Hulu but my Hulu has commercials.
