Back Porch

Creepy place.
Manager didn't like that I was checking out the kitchen.
Told me if I didn't leave, he would forcibly kick me out.

A lot more information is needed………..is there more?
Trespassing, what did you expect..?

wireguy 04-05-2022 06:39 PM

I will never darken this Hell hole again.

davem4616 04-05-2022 06:42 PM

OP, no one has a clue what you are talking about

I feel he was right did you ask permission

Stu from NYC 04-05-2022 06:50 PM

OP if you want anyone to take you seriously you need to provide more info.

If the manager said he would "forcibly" kick him out, I can't agree that he was right. Rather, the manager should have politely asked him to leave. But, we only have one side of the story.

We have no sides.

2 of your 9 posts are about a restaurant, (or guess you meant the back porch restaurant) that is not yet open. It appears you entered the premises, without being a worker, employee, inspector, or an owner, then you were asked to leave. That’s so shocking to me (insert Sheldon Sign).

Why was it creepy, and a Hell hole, other than it angered you that you got caught trespassing.

"Told me if I didn't leave, he would forcibly kick me out."

Sounds like he told him to leave. And when he didn't that's when the "forcibly" part happened...

Bill14564 04-05-2022 08:33 PM

They are open according to their facebook page. I can't imagine heading back to the kitchen without asking permission - it doesn't surprise me at all that the OP was asked to leave.

Stu from NYC 04-05-2022 09:17 PM

Guess OP thinks he can go anywhere in the restaurant he wants whenever he wants and not ask for permission.

They are open now and very busy and it looks great.

Garywt 04-05-2022 10:56 PM

Guessing the OP wants the new restaurant to do bad for some reason. I am guessing he was asked to leave a couple times before the manager had to get mad. And then no info give, no additional explanation. Must be a troll.

And restaurants let you roam around in kitchen?

Hell hole ? Because you were trespassing ,never visit it again, because you trespassing . Hate to see your reaction if your newspaper got wet .

Qmsp@aol.com 04-06-2022 04:46 AM

Just wondering

If someone wanders into your kitchen would you just ask him politely to leave? Not sure why anyone would think they can just wander around in a restaurant kitchen and think that is ok.

I think if you cook your own food in their kitchen it should be free. Seems reasonable to me.

Gunny2403 04-06-2022 05:27 AM

Good for him! Sit, eat and enjoy.

Gunny2403 04-06-2022 05:30 AM

They have been open and my one meal there was excellent

Nucky 04-06-2022 05:40 AM

We don’t act like you have once we move to The Village’s. If I was him I would have insisted on inspecting your kitchen immediately. Who are you man? Code enforcement?

dewilson58 04-06-2022 05:45 AM

Probably not the public responses the OP was hoping for.

I have to confess (in a former life ,in a different city) at a restaurant not to be named here (because I can’t remember the name) I went into the kitchen to get my own silverware because for some reason the wait staff wouldn’t bring it to me after I requested it from the server twice and from the food runner. I was a little hangry at that point but found no resistance in the kitchen. I cook at home a lot now!😀

fdpaq0580 04-06-2022 05:52 AM

OP is probably an "influencer" and wanted free food for posting that he liked it. This is what happens when "influencers" are rejected.

MidWestIA 04-06-2022 05:56 AM

The not spoken side

When I was new in a support group I kept having people tell me awful stories of someone mistreating them then I learned to find out the other person's view or what did they do that may have caused what happened at least to some degree. Bet the story would be way different from there

Suzay 04-06-2022 06:10 AM

Why would you do thay ? If you don't feel comfortable eqti.g out ,stay home in your kitchen.. If it was my place I would of done the same !,you were trespassing .

Walking into the kitchen of a restaurant is creepy. Refusing to leave when told is creepy. Trying to damage the reputation of a business because you did not get away with being creepy is creepy.

But, I am thinking that the OP will not see any of our comments. Throw a grenade and run away. That's what these kind do.

retiredguy123 04-06-2022 06:29 AM

Lots of pure speculation on this thread. But, the OP didn't provide many details.

What are you not saying here

Stu from NYC 04-06-2022 06:54 AM

OP is not going to be in the running for poster of the year now.

However creepiest post he has a shot of.

NoMo50 04-06-2022 07:04 AM

Questions for the OP:

When you fly commercial, do you go check out the cockpit?

If your spouse is having surgery, do you go check out the operating room?

When getting the oil changed in your car, do you go back to check out the mechanic's tools?

If you make a deposit at the bank, do you wander back to check out the vault?

Be thankful you were merely asked to leave, and not arrested on the spot. Or, thrown out onto the sidewalk!

PennBF 04-06-2022 07:08 AM

Note the OP Forum Name

Am I the only one who noticed the OP Forum Nickname is "Wiseguy". That speaks for itself. Proper way to handle crazies like this is to call the Sheriff.

CZN715 04-06-2022 07:28 AM

Maybe he came into the kitchen through the back door?
I would throw him out too.

OhioBuckeye 04-06-2022 07:37 AM

Yes I agree, what’s he talking about?

mamamia54 04-06-2022 07:46 AM

If you check the kitchen of every restaurant you eat in, you will be eating home more often, lol!

Petersweeney 04-06-2022 08:07 AM

Too bad the OP didn’t have a brick and a knife like his girlfriend at Walmart.

bsinnett 04-06-2022 08:11 AM

We ate there yesterday. Very friendly staff and the food was excellent. They open at 3pm for now.

Aren’t there health department regulations about letting customers wander back into the kitchen? It’s a little like letting a patient’s spouse wander into the operating room in street clothes during a surgery.
