Tamarind Grove ?
 

We have a lot in Tamarind Grove and hope to begin construction in late July. It is on Barret Lane. I haven't seen anyone else mention Tamarind Grove as their future home. Will we have neighbors? Please let us know if there are any other Tamarind Grove TVers out there that are planning to build soon.

I've seen it mentioned many times here on TOTV. You can use the TOTV search feature above. But I'm sure you'll get some neighbors responding here as well.

I know Champion6 has a lot in Tamarind Grove - it is gorgeous!

Hi bookbarb. We are going to build on Ansley Path and are planning to move in October. These TOTVers will be or are already on Ansley Path - tjwarzel, Mustang Sally, pattyc and mulligan. billjay23 and jadlos will be or are already on Montbrook Place.

Thanks for suggesting the search feature. I hadn't thought of that, but I have had much success with it. Looks like my fears are unfounded.

Hi, We are building in Tamarind Grove. We plan to start building in late july or early august. We are building on Odessa Circle. Can't wait to get everything started.

Our lot is on Bachman Path and plan to build Oct. - Nov this year. We are coming to TV this weekend and start the different selections for the Iris that we are having built. I cannot tell ya'll (yes we are from Texas) how informative I have found this site. Thanks to everyone and we are looking forward to meeting all of you soon.

Glad to hear from someone who's building in Tamarind Grove around the same time as we are. I can't wait to get home (I'm at work now) to see where you will be. I'm sure you are excited as we are to get the process going. Have you had your meeting to pick your preferences yet?

This weekend we are going to participate in our friends' wedding in TV. They meet in TV. After all the festivities ar over, we will be going through the selection process. Not really sure what to expect, but looking forward to the adventure.

Yes, BillJay and I are closing on our home on Montbrook place in late June. We bought an At Ease and we're very excited and counting the days until our closing (54).

One of the neighbors on Odessa Circle is hosting a meet your neighbors on Saturday 5/14.
You'll love Tamarind Grove, the pool has beautiful sunsets and Lake Sumter Landing is a short golf cart ride away. We closed on our home on April 8th and almost have it together.

Looks like I will just miss the neighbors' meet and greet - I'm arriving early evening on the 14th. But hopefully there will be other opportunities.

We will be really close. My poor $5.00 map is getting so much use. Whenever someone mentions what street/road they will be moving to, I get out the map and check out where they will be. It is so exciting. Have you decided what house you will be building? We can't wait to meet all of the nice people.

Jeff, The TG pool is in such a neat location. It is a bit off the beaten path and just so inviting.

Hello everyone! The Brown's (Denny and Marcia) will be coming to TV, specifically a CYV in Southern Star. We close 6-8-11 and plan to move down the 1st week of July if not sooner. Looks like we are surrounded (literally) by several of you on Odessa Circle! Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hello, Iowa Hawkeye. What part of Iowa are you from? I grew up in Dubuque, and my dad still lives there, so I go back to Dubuque to visit him every couple of months. My youngest sister graduated from Iowa in the mid 1980's.

Hi there, We just bought a lot in Tamarind Grove two weeks ago. We are hoping to be permantely in The Villages by October. The property is on Newburn Lane. We will be coming down to the Villages shortly to to finalize everything. I don't know about you, but we are extremely excited.

I'll be there, can't wait. !!!

So it looks like there's quite a group of TV newcomers invading Tamarind Grove in the coming months. We'll be there on June 28th. Anybody interested in a once-a-month Tamarind Grove women's golf group and/or couples golf followed by dinner out?

We will be so close, and hopefully getting to TV at the same time. We are working very hard to get our house ready to list in July when we come down to get our home in TV started. We hope to be permanent residents the end of October. I am so anxious, but so much to do in the next 2 months. We are hoping that our house sells quickly, but who knows? Can't wait to meet everyone!
