We just had a phone call from the realtor, she is bringing an offer over....
My heart is just a pumping. My husband and I are so nervous and very happy. I just pray to God that it is a good offer and that everthing goes ok. We just may make it to the villages before the first of the year. Please say a prayer for us.... And Thanks for all the wise words...:wave::wave:

Imagine yourselves doing the 'happy dance' and we'll all hold positive thoughts for you!:wave:

I have been coming to the Villages for 15 years to visit my in-laws and it's only getting better. Now is the right time since building will stop in 4 years. Prices for housing will continue to increase unlike the rest of the country.:wave:

The realtor just left with an offer- we did counter offer, so now we are waiting to hear back... my stomache is in knots... I hope I do not get sick
(just kidding) but i am stressed. I know this is what I have been praying for so why do I feel this way ? I guess it is just not knowing what I will be doing next month !!! Thanks again for all your kind words..

Don't worry about what you'll be doing next month if your counter offer is accepted.....Just think about being in sunshine every day and temps well above 65 for the next 6 months instead of having to shovel 2 feet of snow away from your garage door to get the snowblower out, to use it for the next hour at least, so you can try to get to work without being hit by other vehicles sliding at you.

That sounds so good. I wish I was there allready ! I was up all night just thinking good thoughts ! Will let everyone know if they except the offer !

Well they took the offer ! We close on Dec. 27th, now all I have to do is tell my boss, oh boy am I nervous.... I hope I don't break down and cry like a baby, I have been there for 20 years and I have loved my job.

Well I did it ! I gave my notice and did not even cry.... My boss said why ?
I explained and his words were you are going to hate it .... Florida is way to hot. No use trying to explain, he had his mind made up. My last day is Dec. 23rd. We close on the 27th and will start the move after the closing. We are so excited. The movers are coming the week of the 19th. We sold the house with most of the furniture so just have my husband tools, washer/Dryer, and lots of clothes..... Way to many... Hope to see you soon.... Here we come:wave::wave:
