Marxist - Get citizens dependent on the Government

Obama - Obamacare violates religious and civil liberty
Marxist - undermine the U.S. Constitution

Obama- Cut nuclear force to 300 weapons
Marxist - Weaken America through disarmament

Obama - Aid 81 Progressive Democrats in Congress
Marxist - Inflitrate one of both political parties

Obama - Use media to push Progressive agenda
M - Gain control of the media

O - Glorify homoxexual "marriage"
M - Discredit the "traditional" family

O - allow open homosexuality in our military
M - Show homosexxuality as Normal and Healthy

O - Force taxpayer funding for abortions
M Break down cultural and moral standards

For plenty more, start reading every Communist book you can get your hands on!! Everthing Obama believes and stands for is listed in these type of books. This is so simple (like two plus two) I cannot understand anyone who does not get it at this point. Liberalism really is a mental disease.

Most of these issues are due to a do nothing Congress with the exception of the school homosexuality and that can't be pinned on POTUS.

Could you please expand on the 81 Progressive Democrats who are communists, as first mentioned by Congressman Allen West? I would be interested to see if my congressman is on that list.

buggyone: I see what you are saying as a one dimensional view. If a family member of mine were homosexual I would always love them (the person). However I would not accept their homosexuality and if they march in one of those Gay Pride Parades dressed like the joke of the week I would suggest they not visit me in the future as it would be too much to take for me.

that is basically what the comparison I gave was intended to provoke. A thought process going on to fundamentally change America. To get them to realize that Yes History repeats itself Doug. I gave a specific book title when it was requested and the goals are all listed in the book and if they can read the book and NOT understand what is going on then perhaps there is no hope for them. We should NOT be teaching 6 yr olds about condoms nor should we be teaching them about Mommy and Mommy at home. We should be educating our children about the Constitution and what made our country exceptional. We should be encouraging our children to become inventors, entrepreneurs (which we leaned last week Obama HATES) Barrack Obama does NOT believe our country is exceptional. He wants us to be like every other 3rd world country in the world as his "apology tours" exhibited right from the beginning. It's all in "black and white" If it talks like a socialist, studies marxism, and is all about Change they will be the sheep being led to the slaughter. It's just a matter of time.

Romney also passed an assault weapons ban in 2004, which is still in place today. Tough one for the concealed weapons carriers to swallow.

Romney also passed the health care law with the individual mandate, and polls show people of Massachusetts actually approve of it.

When Romney ran for the senate against Ted Kennedy, he was pro-choice.

I think the Republican Party would be ashamed of the rhetoric put forth on this thread by one of their own loyal members.

It certainly does not show a good side of them and leads the reasonable person to vote in the opposite party.

I know the Tri-County Tea Party apologized last year when one of their members made racially hate talk during one of the events (Chili Cook Off) here in The Villages when it was made known to them.

Call it Marxism, Socialism or Communism, they are all 'hot button' terms we've been taught to hate, fear or at least be suspicious of since we were little kids. So naturally a thread using those terms to describe the President has a high emotional tone.

History could not be more clear in proving that large scale experiments in communism or socialism do not work. They run counter to human nature by suppressing individuality, the desire to achieve and elements of free choice. But if we are going to be objective, and despite how much we have been taught to love and respect capitalism, in it's pure forms it also has proven unworkable. The founding fathers were certain the American experiment would fail dismally unless there was a government strong enough to insure all of the enumerated rights of individuals.

The United States has always been a blend of capitalism and socialism. Everyone understands and accepts that unless they are so frightened of the word 'socialism' as to be in total denial of it's existence. Law enforcement and the courts, public schools, hospitals, community centers, etc. are just a few examples of socialism, necessary and supported everywhere.

So it is no surprise that the two consensus choices for President in 2012 are both Capitalist/Socialists. The Republican primary electorate would simply not support a real conservative, so the all hopes are now pinned on a 'moderate'. The moderate is one who espouses a good deal of the socialist agenda, not the least of which is government supported and regulated health care delivery system. No amount of emphasis on his experience as a capitalist businessman can change that.

Blowing smoke about "Marxism" and "Socialism" doesn't fool anyone anymore, and when it is part of the agenda of Romney supporters, it makes others hesitant to align themselves with a candidate who appeals to such extremists.
