Music to the Lanai

Could use suggestions on how to get the XFinity music channels to play in the lanai without running wires. We have a patio villa with the front lanai enclosed and the distance from our smart LG TV in the great room is a good 40-45 feet away. Someone suggested Bluetooth speakers, but the maximum range is about 30 feet normally and the kitchen, laundry, etc. stands in the way also. Any ideas for this electronically challenged guy ? Thanks in advance !

Download the XFinity app on your phone.

Use your phone and a bluetooth speaker on your lanai.

Spend $50 to $100 on a speaker and you will be surprised with the quality.

Can play Pandora music on your phone too.

Get a Sonos move speaker. It’s wireless, charge last all night.

Sonos is a great option. It allows me to easily stream anything, anywhere in my home. I can stream my TV audio to any room. Or stream music or podcasts from my iphone/ipad to any sonos speaker. Any and all audio currently playing in any apple app can be streamed to one or multiple sonos speakers.

Not XFinity but as an alternate try using an Alexa speaker. That's how we do music in numerous rooms.

Thanks everyone ! Slightly embarrassed that I didn't even think of using the XFinity phone AP ! Streamed the music perfectly in the enclosed lanai. Now to get a speaker !

Bluetooth Speaker ; my recommendation would be Ultimate Ears Mega Boom. Get it on Amazon.

What he said ^^^

I did have a "Wonderboom" (the smaller lil brother to the Megaboom. It worked great but the Megaboom has a much better sound (and my youngest daughter "borrowed" my Wonderboom...)

We have a tv in our lanai. Never listen to music but we could. Our cable box is wireless but we do have a connection if we wanted to use it.

We bought a JBLflip 5 pair it to our iPhones and stream music to it. Works great.

Exactly. We use Alexa all around the house and lanai. Great sound and music for free.
