Family soliciting money for "sex in square" mom

Unbelievable! Maybe she should move somewhere less expensive and get the help she needs and not solicit money from the area she shamed. This is being done on a website youcare.com where anyone can set up a fundraiser. There are a lot more deserving people who have come upon bad times living in the Ocala forest including veterans.

Where did you hear about this? I looked it up and sure it is there but I have not heard about it anywhere else but Talk of the Villages.

There is a teacher on Facebook who is living life as a homeless person for a month or so. He stared on July 4, 2014 This is a very worthwhile cause of his.

There are probably many worthwhile causes on Facebook, TOTV and on other places.

I certainly have no problem though with Margaret Ann Klemm's family showing her love as this may be a good way of getting her help for what looks like a problem with alcoholism. In my experiences, this is a lifetime battle for family members of alcoholics. You support the causes you think will help others. This is probably very personal with many.

Who is anyone to judge that she shamed the villages or that she is not as deserving as anyone else? Maybe the folks she lives amongst should show more compassion and understanding for a neighbor in need of assistance.

What makes you think the website youcare.com is targeting this area?

I am of the mind that people experiencing difficulty have enough distractions without my adding meaningless opinion or keeping this story alive for public scrutiny Let it rest in peace.

These children obviously love their Mom. I'm sure it was not an easy decision for them to set up an account in hopes of getting $$ to go towards her defense. The lady made a mistake. I think too many people in TV have been far too hateful, hurtful and heartless. How do you know her drink/both their drinks weren't spiked. We don't know what has transpired in her life that's lead her down this path. I think we should all stop being so critical and show a little compassion. I also think everyone should encourage the bar that named the drink after the escapade to perhaps retire it. Give these people a break. Their lives have been shattered. How can either put their best foot forward when their neighbors and our courts won't cut them some slack. Shame on us all.

Yep a lot more people here that think they are better than everyone else. Love to gossip. But they come from everywhere and who knows what they have on their past. Could be a lot worse. Some days it looks and sounds like all are back not in high school, but MIDDLE SCHOOL! If people was a give so what

News of this appeared a few days ago in the local online paper that cannot be mentioned herein. That article also stated Peggy's husband is a cancer survivor and has lost a leg. According to the article he has charged $20,000 on his credit cards for legal fees for her. He and her children are the ones about whom I am concerned. They are the victims here, not her.

Peggy has quite a history, years of substance abuse and associated legal issues and is in jail without bond for a parole violation. I do not feel at all sorry for her. Nobody held a gun to her head to make her behave as she has for years. She needs to suffer the consequences of her own behavior.

She did not shame me in the least (and I do live here in The Villages).
The real embarrassment is how she is being treated by the legal system here.
Will one year in prison help solve any of her difficulties.
I can't see how anyone was harmed by her actions, except those who choose to think they were.

Go kids! Free Peggy and bring her home!

Apparently she would be better off if she was tried in Detroit.

I kicked in a couple of bucks for her. She could use some help.

Did you send the dude in prison money? I hear he has to pay 50 bucks a day for his incarceration.

perrjojo 07-22-2014 05:54 PM

The line between compassion and being an enabler is very fine.

She certainly didn't shame me.
They are grown ups that did something stupid and now are paying for it.
It's a shame because she must have a lot of issues that I hope with her family she can work through.
I don't think anyone needs to talk bad about her.
Non of us are not all that innocent or righteous.
