Road Rage Shooting on 466
 

In today's Daily Sun. Road rage on 466 which ended in a motorcyclist shooting into a car!

So this is what America's Friendliest Home Town looks like to the rest of the world - the media are going to have a field day with this one - first sex and now road rage. It's been a long hot summer, but this is ridiculous.

The world;s too interested in our lasted public sex arrest to even notice something as minor as road rage.

The cause is breathing in all that damp humid hot summer air. It makes your brain moldy.

Why didn't the paper put the name and picture of the shooter in the paper? The shooter lived in the villages according to the newspaper. This is serious stuff.

Thank you - finally someone else thinks shooting into someone's car, while they are in it, is serious stuff! Yes, name the idiot involved!

The way I read it he was upset because another motorist blew a horn at him. I'm hoping he will be ordered a pysch eval and his right to carry be revoked. Lying to the police about being a volunteer officer for Marion county did'nt help his cause either.:loco:

of course it is serious but how does this reflect on the villages in general? morons can live anywhere!

I agree. If they had sex after the shooting their names and pictures would have been posted.

The OTHER news venue is giving his name and he has a facebook page.

He is 67 and has pictures of him in some Law and Order shoot in New York.

They may have picked him for his tattoos.

He is from Bayside, Queens I think it said.

Was the other person seriously hurt?

I figured it was just another slow left hand lane driver being culled from the road.

Motorist says he was coming up behind the motorist and tailgating him several times, then pulled in front of him abruptly and stopped, forcing the motorist to stop. Then the motorist blew a horn at him. There is a picture of him on his facebook page with a woman who he says works at the Harley Davidson dealership. (His girlfriend?) Anyway a "girlfriend" on another motor cycle also was involved in bedeviling this motorist who lives in The Villages. This guy shot out the motorist's back tire and light and then took off, but the cops got him.

Lock him up and leave him locked up.

This isn't some quaint little village. We are home to thousands and not exempt from idiots.

Isn't "being charged with a felony involving firearms" enough to have the carry permit revoked until disposition of the case? I hate to think such a loose cannon is walking around still carrying his pistol.
