Regulations On Where Dogs Can Do Their Business

I'm new to TV and I'd like to know if there are specific regulations concerning where dogs can do their business? For example:

- Are they allowed to use neighbor's lawns?
- How about on a golf course?
- Are they allowed to use islands on cul de sacs?
- Are they permitted to use areas by mail stations?

I'd like to know if TV has written rules and who to go to if they are violated. I have noticed that many people with dogs don't like to walk them on their own property. Instead, they prefer to walk them on the areas mentioned above.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Newbie (9/21/12).

Welcome to TOTV. Dog threads, especially those involving p**p, are always welcome here. Dogs are allowed to do stuff wherever and whenever they wish, so no need to call anyone.

Never on the Morses' front or back yards though.

Lake County has laws about picking up dog poop. You may find similar laws too in the other Counties' legal databases.

The Paradise Lake Park has some laws posted about picking up after your dog but I cannot seem to find these in the local legal databases. They could be State Laws too. Paradise Park is in Lake County on the east side of the bridge over US441/27.

I would suggest "The Golden Rule"

Alternatively, "We don't need no Schtinkin' Rules":1rotfl:

Contrary to one poster dogs are not allowed to do their thing on anyones lawn except their owners...as it should be, but many folks don't mind as long as you clean it up. Be prepared for those who don't like dog urine on their lawn(it is their property and if they use their lawn that urine and residue of feces will track back to their house). The VCDD said you ask the person nicely to keep your animal off your property(take a photo of them if you can)....if they do it again call the VCDD and they will speak to them. If they continue letting the dog go on your lawn you will be fined.

Being considerate and respecting others property is common sense....those who disagree just don't want anyone telling what they can and can not do...I call them liberals....

It’s simple to do. Check your house number. Even or odd?*

If your house number is even…
If your house number ends in an even number, like 532, 4298, or 8266, your dog may do its business anywhere outside on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.*

If your house number is odd…
If your house number ends with an odd number, like 531, 4299, or 8267, your dog may do their business anywhere outside on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

What about Monday?
We all take a break—no dogs allowed outside *on Monday. It is not necessary for a dog to do their business every day.

So, now that we know the rule of where NOT to go, where CAN conservatives let their dogs relieve themselves
