Schedules posted in the recreation news are often very different than what's posted at the actual rec center. And given that this discrepancy often exists for weeks at a time, I cannot accept the argument that the weekly recreation news can't be a timely. Calling the rec center often does you no good. I have found that they will just check the weekly rec news and spout back what that says, which is often not correct.


I really don't think it's too much to ask that the recreation department on their web page have a regular, up front listing of closures and that it be kept up in a timely manner.

Unfortunately the sign-up system is as dysfunctional as the rec department. It's a one time deal, you can't make any changes once you're signed up and if you missed the verification email, you're out of luck.

And writing to the district and the recreation department about it gets no response.....

And calling the district offices gets you a "someone will call you back" but they never do.

Wonder why I'm frustrated?????
