Awful Home Invasion
 

Not that any home invasion isn't awful, but the one that happened today is sickening.

Having this information since this afternoon, I hesitated to post it hoping it would come out from another source, but people need to be aware of what happened!

Village of Labelle. Knock on door, woman opened door, intruder pushed his way into home. Resident's dog was barking, so intruder took dog to garage and beat it to death.

Be alert! Be aware!

Is the woman OK?

Did they catch the scum?

Where did you hear/see this?

What time of day did this happen? Do we know if the intruder was known to the resident? This is horrible, I certainly hope the woman is safe.

Around what time? Any description of the vehicle?

Where is the village of labelle?

South of 466a, off Morse and near the new Belle Glade country club.

Also, don't forget the 2 Fruitland Park PO's caught being members of the local KKK last year.

Back in 2006 a young man became the youngest person on Fl's death row. He shot a Villages woman to death. The newspaper article referred to the Villages as a wealthy community. We have been targeted in the past and will continue to be targeted.

Daughter of Villager brought the 18 year old into the home. It was about drugs.

I'm still wondering about the legitimacy of the story and where the OP got their information? :confused:

It seems strange to post something like that, only mention what supposedly happened to a dog and nothing about the homeowner.

The print paper has a small blurb. Used the term "burglary/battery".

"Incident Sends Detectives to Harlow Villas

The Villages

Harlow Villas in the Village of Labelle was closed of to residents for a while Thursday while the Sumter County Sheriff's Office investigated a suspicious incident.

The report came in at 1:14 p.m., and the event was described as a burglary/battery. Sumter Sheriff's Capt. Chris Haworth said, but details were still under investigation Thursday evening.
