I can't open the link because I bet every man woman and dog is trying to get information at the same time, all 77 thousand of us.

I heard that a woman is barracaded in her home on Bloomington Place (near the Glenview Country Club) after several shots were fired and Wesh 2 is there live.

This is all that it says, it was updated at 6:30, there is a map and it looks like it is behind The Glenview Golf.

THE VILLAGES, Fla. -- Authorities said there has been a shooting in The Villages.
The incident was reported late Thursday on Bloomington Place in the northwest corner of The Villages in Sumter County in the Village at Glen Brook subdivision.

Authorities said the shooting began as a domestic dispute in which a woman shot a man.

The man was airlifted to a nearby hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

Authorities said the woman has barricaded herself inside the home after the shooting.

The Villages is a massive retirement community that sprawls across parts of Sumter, Lake and Marion counties.

This should put The Villages on the map for sure. And perhaps reinforce the "Leisureville" perspective of sex and inappropriate behaviour.

Sadly, it sounds like a "domestic" which can errupt anywhere. I hope all people involved are OK and will work things out.

People involved were Denise and Dennis Textor, he an ex police officer and she is 51 years old. They've lived here since 2005 according to Sumterpa.com.

She shot him several times and he crawled out of bathroom window.

She is arrested after being holed up in house for four hours appearing briefly twice with gun in hand.
