"Holy Yuck Batman, What's Worse Then That?"

I'm on line at a Marathon Gas Station waiting to check out and look in the refrigerated sandwich display on my right and see "Pickle Juice Ice Pops."

"Holy Yuck Batman, What's Worse Then That?"

I don't expect this thread to last long but I'll give it a shot.

Yeah, that sounds “yuck”, but presume somebody likes it. But why?

Some people drink pickle juice when the pickles are gone. I use to work with guy that would drink hot pepper juice. For me I could never eat clams or snails. Pickle pops would be walk in the park compared s-car-go.

There are "some" who swear by drinking pickle juice. I love pickles BUT........ There's a lot out there about pickled anything being good for gut health.

Old remedy for leg cramps. my grandparents drank it for that reason. I keep pickle juice in our fridge for many things.it does not have to be pickles, any pickling juice will work for leg cramps

Been using valerian for leg cramps with variable success, will give the pickle juice a try,
Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

You can make your own pickling brine and keep in the fridge. It’s quick and easy, and can control the salt

I use a couple tablespoons of sweet pickle juice in tuna salad. It perks it up and tastes good to me. I slice up one of the pickles and add it as well.

I use relish or crushed pineapple in tuna salad. I still wouldn't go for a pickle juice pop though.

Do you rub it over your leg?

Neither would I.
