MVP Garage Door Opener -solid green light
My MVP double car garage door opener does nothing when I press the wall button or try the remote. I now need to open the door manually...which at times is easier said than done. I checked the service book and it says to look at the diagonsis light on the rear of the main unit. I see a solid green light and according to the book, it indicates a "short". Anyone have this problem?
Any recommendations for a good garage door mechanic?? |
you may have it in "lock" mode, or somehow the code got changed, either of which you can fix yourself.
it can also be stripped nylon teeth gears or a broken chain, likely which you can't fix and it'll be $100+ for the repair call and fix. there's another thread on this, best wishes |
PS-the "Do It Yourself" forum has a couple page thread on this
