Availability of restrooms near walking trails

During this time of keeping our distance from neighbors and friends, many of us are making more use of the walking trails to easily maintain the recommended 6-ft. distance. I'm in the Village of Fenney and have been either cycling or taking long walks most mornings. Prior to late last week, restrooms were available at both the Fenney Putt 'n Play as well at the Archery center. While these two recreation opportunities remain open, the restrooms are now locked. This is making for a difficult situation for those of us who are out on the trails for any significant length of time. I'm at a loss to understand the reasoning behind closing the (individual) restrooms. No one is nearby and there are supplies available in the restrooms to wash and dry hands. Any ideas about why this has happened, and what can be done to reverse the decision?

Seriously?

Because the germs of an infected person would remain long after the person left.

Perhaps you should shorten your time on the trails during this situation.

I wouldn't even touch the door knob. Shorter trips or stay near home and walk on the streets nearby several times would be the answer. At least you can get home faster with a bike.

The restrooms near the pickleball courts are open as well at the Marsh View pitch and putt by Edna's
