Curious Minds Want to Know
Was driving through horse country today and wondered why horses live on farms and not on ranches, like cattle and sheep.:shrug:

Probably the same reason people park on driveways and drive on parkways.

And while we are being curious... why do some things burn up and some things burn down?

And, how high is up? That was the title of on old Three Stooges movie.

Maybe it's a regional thing. In the East we tend to have farms. In the southwest the tendency may be more toward ranches. I also think thoroughbreds tend to come from farms and quarter horses come from ranches.

Because
We eat animals that come from ranches but not from farms.
