Most of the renters will be parking in their assigned parking space in the parking lot with the hot Florida sun day after day. That would be a big issue with me.

I thought they had garages. Where do they keep golf carts?

villagetinker 10-29-2020 07:11 PM

Garages are limited and a separate fee is involved, as for golf carts, outside.........

The problem is that you need to pay three times as much per month as compared to living in the same size house. And, there is really no advantage in terms of location and convenience. The only additional hassle I have with my house is to pay someone to cut the grass.

How did they get out of their leases?

anitasnyder1@gmail.com 10-30-2020 05:02 AM

I was really looking forward to selling my house to get rid of yard expenses but the prices of apts. Turned me off...way 2 $!
Only 4 the wealthy!

Sounds so negative.....................and yet they are building more. Hmmmm.

thelegges 10-30-2020 05:20 AM

We looked into a one bed, with no view. Not including amenities fee, and cable, with outside parking it was $1800.

But if you wanted to stay in TV and not deal with a home, the only site was the assisted living areas in TV, cost started at $4000, With no meals, or housekeeping, and outside parking.

So for them the lofts are a deal. I wonder how long it will take to have 80% occupancy, and will the developer start on the next complex before that happens.

The pricing of the rentals is very high, in comparison to current home prices. For example the smallest 1 bedroom is close to $1800 per month BEFORE amenities, utilities, optional garage etc. This would total close to $2300 per month and you don’t own it!
It may be a good option for some, but they are pricey

How can they move out? I thought they were required to sign a 1 yr lease.

DaisyDE 10-30-2020 05:43 AM

4k for assisted living and no food or housekeeping? Wondering where the assistance is!

Reminds me of Coop City in the Bronx
