Remember Jane Fonda?

I'm sure there are many military retirees/veterans who remember Jane Fonda of the 70's and the irreparable harm she did, as HANOI JANE.

Well, I've just discovered that she is the spokesperson for GREENPEACE, an organization to which I've contributed over the years.

I've just mailed a letter requesting they remove my name from their mailing list, as I will no longer be a contributor to an organization that has a traitor as their spokesperson.

Just putting in my two cents and FYI for those interested.

How soon some organizations forget.

She should be spending her life in prison at hard labor

Hanoi Jane should have been permanently exiled from the USA. I'm sure Vietnam would have welcomed her.

The Real Story Behind Jane Fonda'''s '''Hanoi Jane''' Nickname | Time

Research and then research some more.

Jane Fonda was a true heroin to those of us in Vietnam during the conflict. Those of us that served and had sufficient gray matter to understand what she was doing for soldiers was wonderful. I love you Jane and will forever be great full for your commitment to saving young American soldiers lives.:bigbow:

The Vietnam War was a tragic mistake that cost tens of thousands precious lives. Jane should have stayed out of there and filmed Barbarella II.

I thought from the title it would be RIP. What a disappointment

The tens of thousands that did not go and die after Jane helped stop the conflict. Research factual sites and you will find what a wonderful Heroin Jane was.

I must add, I am sure I know more about the Vietnam conflict than some and a whole lot more than the large majority of those giving opinions about it that are unaware of what really went on. I am a 22 year veteran of the Army, a decorated Combat Veteran and if called today would rush to be back in any conflict that my country needed me for, but I also believe we should never have been in Vietnam. The United States was wrong, and committed crimes against the people and especially children of Vietnam.

I went to Vietnam first time in 1960 , first as a multi toured paratrooper including serving with Vietnamese Paratroop outfits , I also spent many years as a civilian including many years in Laos and Cambodia, I was lifted out of Vietnam the day before the fall . I am a firm believer that the war would have gone on much longer without the demonstrations . Guys like me knew by 66 or 67 that there was no chance of winning you go Jane this Buds for you

Stu from NYC 11-19-2020 03:38 PM

First thank you for your service.

I did not have the privilege of serving but a question.

It seems to be that the politicians who ran the war had no idea how to do so. If they left the fight to the people who were trained to do so would it have had a different outcome?

Very interesting Vietnam now is becoming a capitalist country.

There were many ways to show you disagreed with what we did. It just seems to me that was she did was treasonous giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

In my native country and almost anywhere else in the world a traitor would have been hung as an example, but I guess here we are more civil.

I wonder if the soldier that passed her the note during a handshake feels as JJ does? She gave it to the guards. He was beaten to h_ll.
