First thank you for your service.

I did not have the privilege of serving but a question.

It seems to be that the politicians who ran the war had no idea how to do so. If they left the fight to the people who were trained to do so would it have had a different outcome?

Very interesting Vietnam now is becoming a capitalist country.

There were many ways to show you disagreed with what we did. It just seems to me that was she did was treasonous giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

to win North Vietnamese came south knowing that there only way home was victory or one of the lucky few that went home in a box

Read an interesting article entitled "Shame on Jane" by Michael Benge, a former prisoner in North Vietnam. Although Jane Fonda may have thought she was doing good, there are always unintended consequences. The bottom line is it appears an American citizen was brutally tortured as a result of her visit.

I hope she spends eternity sitting on the hard iron seat of an anti-aircraft gun.

Hanoi Jane should have been hanged as a traitor.

The United States was wrong, and committed crimes against the people and especially children of Vietnam.

Not the only one served during VN conflict. I agree Never should been in VN, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Wasn’t most those crimes the field army at lower level? Or are you saying they got approval to commit crimes? If so, you can blame people in charge of the United State’s at time.

Jane used to represent the extreme far left. With all the moonbats out there these days she would be considered a moderate in her party. Very sad.

Please tell me exactly what she did to help stop the conflict, other than hang out with the enemy and get a soldier tortured

To me that was inexcusable and her citizenship should have been revoked while she spent the rest of her life in hard labor.

Lots of people protested the war without giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

I am a firm believer that the war would have gone on much longer without the demonstrations . Guys like me knew by 66 or 67 that there was no chance of winning you go Jane this Buds for you

Mine!! I was scheduled to go back in 1975. Do to the heroic efforts of Jane Fonda and thousands of other protesters the final Americans were pulled out by 30 April 1975.

Thank you Jane for not choosing to dodge your service to the problem in Vietnam. :bigbow:

She brought national attention to the horrors being committed by us to the living rooms of Americans and it helped to put pressure on the US to leave their country.

Torturing anyone is horrible, but worse is 55,000 Americans died over there while we collectively did nothing.

1 Tortured vs 55,000 DEAD.

“Loved” “What she did was wonderful”. You have got to be kidding me. I don’t believe you are a NAM combat vet, you must be an imposter or bleeding heart liberal. There is no one more universally hated by Vietnam vets than Jane Fonda.

Regardless of your opinion of our participation in that war, Men were dying, maimed, and taken prisoner and tortured. All while she was in Hanoi being used as propaganda spokesperson by Vietnam. History will show that she is a traitor of the worst possible kind. Don’t buy this hype folks, this opinion is in the minority of Vietnam vets. USMC Vietnam 69-70.
