Building Materials Prices Soaring!

We recently had some material estimates quoted for a small addition we were planning up here in Northern NE.

Material prices have soared! A single spruce 2×4×8 is now about $12. One sheet of 2x4x8' Advantech is closing in on $90!

Prices are rising are so quickly that the material quotes are good only for a single day.

Is this the same in TV? Are new home prices there climbing substantially?

When will this subside?

Glad we bought in TV back when.

Yes. I’m having a small project done and the contractor said lumber has increased 400%.

When will it subside? Inflation is getting out of hand. Hang on for the bumpy ride... downhill.

Always use a crisis to increase profits!
See how much prices drop when production is back to normal.
It sure a heck wont go back too pre crisis levels for a long time, if ever!

Wait a minute. We are told daily by our government that inflation is well under control. Yesterday I was considering buying a small fresh turkey until I saw that it was $42.00 at Publix.

Not for long. Start hoarding now or don't toss out your phonebook!

People, you have not seen (or felt anything) like what is coming.

The Country has seen unbelievable "things" happen (via the subject we can't mention). And the sheep (us) just watch. We will get exactly what we deserve for our non action in the coming year.

The Media is NOT reporting INFLATION, you are now just seeing with your own eyes. The more you squeeze something (Fossil) fuels, the more they go up in price. And everything (including electric cars, solar panels and wind mills) come from OIL. Oil is way, way up and it is going to skyrocket taking everything with it. You can't have food without OIL. Can't have lumber without OIL.

Buy Exxon is all I can say or watch your savings vanish. (And I know some would never buy an OIL Stock. They will learn the hard way.

Don’t worry, inflation and the southern border are under control.

Fresh turkeys were always expensive, you can still get chopped turkey meat 3 lb at 10 bucks

Just wait till all the retirees will get five or seven percent increases next year, and you're home will suddenly increase 30% in value so those are some advantages to inflation. In fact economist prefer to have inflation versus deflation

Your house might go up 30% but then if you buy another home that also went up 30%. Inflation. It has been an amazing 4 months.
