Store always looks dirty and poor service

I would guess with the renovation, it will look better. Maybe the service will get better.

We need either a Boston Market or Popeyes KC is getting to expensive

What we need are more owners that know how to run a restaurant (big or small).

There is no secret to how to run a successful eatery.
Good service.
Good food.
Clean.
Do this and they will come (keep coming).

The price of chicken has gone up everywhere. We stopped at the newish Popeyes in Leesburg yesterday on our way back from the airport. It was good but their prices are higher, like everyone's. You gotta love this inflation!

and where does one get these fast food employees in rural FL?
Many easily assume that there are always enough employees whenever one is needed,
and location and wages and other employers etc play a large part in
bursting that assumption. . .

and... the food was bad. I'm surprised it didn't close long ago.

It was and is a disgrace. The food is NOTHING short of Horrendous.

Probably the same employee’s will be transferred to the new one, which won’t take long to turn it into the old one. If remodeled toxic bell anything like one off 466 forget about it.

Popeyes is the expensive one. The smallest Chicken and Side Family meal is now 35.00 Which used to be in the 14$ range before inflation.

The most important factor in a restaurant staying in business is strict portion and food waste control. If you don't highly control those you will go broke (while all your customers enjoy the ride)
