RT 27 Repairs
 

Anyone know what the delay is on rt 27 (the strip)
We haven't seen anyone working on this road for about a year.
Any thoughts?

Nobody seems to know all we do is speculate but do not understand the holdup

At least, they will be working on it for one week (Aug. 7 to Aug 13), supposedly.

Oh good grief! Lighten up!!! You're retired and if you really truly cared you'd attend meetings that addressed the issue. You don't. So just let it be. *sigh*

Florida has to be the slowest state when it comes to road construction. Down in Fort Myers Beach there's a road called Estero Boulevard it's about 3 miles long and was being resurfaced and new utilities and sewer. It has been over six years and they still don't have it completed!!! Back in Minnesota they build and rebuild hundreds of hundreds of miles of roads every season… And that season only lasts for about three months.

RICH1 is probably another misinformed person that doesn’t understand what The Villages Amenities actually are ….

Bet you that he thinks that entertaining at the squares is an “amenity” ! ;)

Not just road work, they are also working on drainage and utilities.
