Folks: I am sure that many of you may be terribly disappointed to hear this, but the tiny lizards that run around our homes are actually "anoles" and not "geckos". Photos are attached (the large one is the gecko). You are welcome!

Now I know why they won't talk back to me!

Michael G. 03-15-2023 05:41 PM

We had one in the house trying to sell me insurance the other day.

tvbound 03-15-2023 05:41 PM

I had one on my lanai, that helped save me hundreds on my car insurance though.

I believe the green ones with the yellow feet are the original Floridian ones, and the dark ones are invasive species.

Thanks. But, you need to post this about a thousand more times because people will still call them geckos. They are the same people who call "Citizens First" bank, "Citizens" bank.

Its another scam, pretends to be a gecko, gets your personal information , next thing you know it takes out a mortgage and credit card in your name

I would stick with calling them Geckos.
I had one with hearing problems, and when I called him an Anole, he attacked me.
He thought I called him an a***hole.
They are dangerous when upset!

"Citizens" is a much larger bank based up north.
