Was on site where the Clermont Costco will be built. Only 36 minutes to my home in St Catherine. Its next door to this address: 17325 E Hwy 50, Clermont to map it where you live

From Fruitland Park, it is 41 minutes and 29.8 miles via Rt 27, no tolls. The turnpike is a longer way to go.

I’m gonna check out both routes from Richmond - at any rate, can’t wait for Costco!

We're almost as far north in TV, looked at the distance and it will take us 50 min. BUT, I LOVE Costco!!!

I live near St. Catherine and I work in Clermont 1 day a week.

The Costco will be east of Clermont on Route 50 a few miles.

It is not that far away from The Villages; either by 27 -> 50, or Florida Turnpike.

If by Turnpike, I think it costs $3+ each way. Not a lot, but something to consider.

If by 27, then 50, it will take longer than posted. If there is no traffic, you will move along, but I always find traffic in one or more places along the way. Usually, it take 30 - 40 minutes just to get to my job in Clermont. The Costco is about another 5 - 10 minutes in heavy traffic to the East.

I will still be going to that Costco, don't get me wrong. It is just a longer hustle than you might be led to believe via Google Maps or Waze.

Better than Altamonte Springs, but not much better than the time it takes to get to Wesley Chapel Costco. Should have built it in Ocala.

In MA, we had Sams, Costco and BJs all nearby. Frankly never saw the appeal of Costco.

Clermont will be closer, but I love WC Costco for the shopping, and restaurants.

I’m down in Winter Garden every Sunday morning for church (I’m able to fly down the turnpike on Sunday mornings - just 43 minutes from my door in Richmond to the church parking lot.) Clermont is even closer - Costco will become part of my weekly Sunday ritual - Church - Lunch Out - Costco Run. Now we just need a Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods in Clermont!

In southern Cal there were 3 Costcos within 15 minutes of each other. 2 in one city of Laguna Niguel even. Trader Joes was across the street and 4 others nearby. Was a shock that we had to drive to Millenia Mall for a Costco. Nice to be closer to Clermont's Costco.

Yep, same here where we lived in Ventura County. Two Costcos very close, and 3-4 TJ’s. They are the only shopping I miss in SoCal. Did not like the Orlando Costco when we checked it out after a partial day in Epcot. Hoping Clermont will be better.

I hope they have charging stations for golf carts. (jk)

I hope you didn't just post your home address on an internet message board.
