Garage Question & 2 Golf Carts

In the Villas with the "1 & 1/2 garages" with a car on one side, will 2 standard CARTS fit end to end next to a car ?
Thanks..

Measure twice, cut once. It will depend on the length of the garage and the carts. Its pretty simple math...

Then I guess I will not know till I get there in the spring.

Technically one can ask your sales rep the depth of garage. You gave him or her a nice check ask.
Divide by two for end to end.

I don't have a villa but this might help.

My car is rather long but fits in my garage with 3' to spare.
Looking at the specs for my car and my two golf carts, end-to-end they are 6" shorter than my car.

In my standard-length garage I should be able to park two golf carts end to end with no space between them and about 18" clearance on both the front and the back. Tight, but doable.

If villa garages are any shorter then the two carts would not fit.

It will be tight fit.

I think generally if they don't fit, then park the carts & any bikes, or anything else easily stolen in the garage, & park your locked car in the driveway.

The villages should be able to send you a floor plan with measurements.
The county building department should have floor plans for each house. They are public info so you should be able to access.
I do not know if they will fit. But consider the space taken up by opening the car door to get in. Also your garage is a storage space.

Maybe. If you have a two-seater Yamaha, then maybe. If you have a 4-seater (rearward facing seats), probably not. My 4-seater (rearward) with brush guard at the lake up north is 10 feet long!

Two of those would take up 23 feet, assuming 10 feet each, foot in between and foot front and back (gotta get around the garage and that door has to have room to close without the magic beam being broken).

Garages are not one standard size in the Villages. You will have to ask the agent for the measurements. When you look at homes, pay attention to the driveway. Some are short and curved. This makes it difficult to maneuver cars and carts.

Everyone seems to complicate the simplest question on here.

The simple answer to your question, is "no".

You cannot reasonably get a car & 2 golf carts into a 1.5 car garage.

Could you get a tiny little "Smart Cart" & 2 Evolution golf carts into that garage? Maybe, but you wouldn't be able open the car doors, walk around and get into anything, so it's not very practical.

it's tough enough to do that, with a 2 car garage.

Most garages listed as 1.5 cars (and even 2.5 cars) garage sizes are not accurate. The half side mostly is only a 6ft wide door, and around half of the depth of a normal space. More like 1/3 of a space, not an extra 1/2.

OP is asking to put 1 car, plus the equivalent of another car (2 carts) into less space than they would occupy.
The only possible exception is if the floor plans were stretched, and somehow things were enlarged substantially. Doubt they would still call it a 1.5 car space.

Most 1.5 garages are so small that by the time people put a few basic necessities in them, the only thing that is going to fit is one golf cart. No car. It will need to be parked in the driveway.

Parks cars in driveways overnight ? I thought that was not allowed in TV.

. Some 1.5 have the washer and dryer plus sink in the garage. The water heater location can be odd. It is probably best if you ask agent for measurements along with a picture of the garage
