Construction underway for Hooters restaurant in The Villages
 

A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Monday to mark the start of construction for The Villages’ first Hooters location. The restaurant is scheduled to open early this summer at Lake Deaton Plaza. Nope they all go through a desensitizing training. Use the word Sweetie, Smile without gritting your teeth, keep a safe distance, and remember your boyfriend at home is Hot, but the old guys tip well. If they don’t pass the word, as they leave. Old guys are far more creepy than younger clientele.

Sorry my friends and I go to many restaurants around here and sure we are not looked on as creepy. We will kid around but are polite, say thanks and tip well.

Can't come soon enough...A better alternative to Gators and BeefOBrady.
Best of all, the easily offended pearl clutchers will avoid the place.

Is their food any good?

WHY would they build a Hooters in a retirement community with old men to stare & drool over young servers? Creepy & Gross.

The food is disgusting.

The place is exactly as one would envision it. I'm not disputing they'll probably be successful in TV, but the place gives me the creeps.

Then again, I've never been all that enthralled by boobs.

I DON’T KNOW WHETHER THEY’RE GONNA FIND DECENT YOUNG LADIES IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD TO RUN AROUND HALF NAKED. I JUST DON’T BELIEVE THEY’RE PUTTING A HOOTERS WHEN THERE ARE MANY OTHER BETTER RESTAURANTS THEY COULD PUT.
