Picking up at Orlando Airport
 

Is there a place where I can park and wait for my people to call? Where is it?

Follow signs for the South Exit. You will see Red signs directing you to the Cell Phone Parking Lot.

not that easy to find
 

we did this (went to the cell phone lot) the last time we picked someone up (which we try to avoid, but can't always). Seemed to wind around a bunch, kept seeing signs until we got fairly close and then either missed the sign or it wasn't there, but could see the lot in the distance so found it. Of course, just as we pulled in, we got the call, and pulled right out.

I have always used cell phone lot, but Express pickup is another option folks seem to like, more info here:

Ohiogirl, we've covered the same route must be. We see the first Cell Parking sign, after that we end up lost. Stay away from The Satellite Parking Areas. That was confusing for us the first time we did a pickup. Just take it slow, even though everyone else is zipping right along and it gets hectic. At worst you end up driving around and by then your guest have arrived anyway. Good Luck:thumbup:

I have two spots to wait for someone to call me on my cell phone to pick them up. If it is around time to eat I go to Hooters or Fridays if I am not ready to eat then it is Edwin Watts. All are in the same area with no stop lights between them and the airport.

We used the cell phone lot only once. We found it easier to wait at the Florida Mall for a call and then just drive five minutes to the airport to pick up our guests. the cell phone lot is mostly graveled with a few portable toilets.

We do the same thing, Indy-Guy. We avoid that last toll on the Beachline and Fridays/Edwin Watts is a great, convenient place to wait. It's a quick drive to "Arrivals" after we get the call from our passenger(s). Who needs a cell phone lot? !!:plane:
