Dryer Vent
 

My dyer is not vented outside as it was up north - I'm told it's vented out of the roof! My neighbor just had a service in to clean her dryer vent and she said I woudn't believe what the service man took out of it - it went beyond the usual lint build up.

It was suggested that the dryer hose and vent be cleaned at least annually especially if you have pets. The service man used a long pipe type cleaner similar to what an old fashion chimmey sweeper used in his trade.

Have others had this service done and how often do you have the dryer vent cleaned
