Got a recommendation for this book from a fellow dog lover. Had not heard of it before. Have any TOTVers read this book? What did you think?

Stayed up until midnight finishing this book. It's told from a dog's point of view. It is funny, sad, heartwarming and for us dog lovers it gave some insight to what our dogs could be thinking

I loved that book:)

If you are a dog lover be prepared to laugh and cry.

My wife and I loved that book.

My wife and I loved the book. It will cause you to go through a range of emotions. Now, when I look at Smokey (my nine and a half year old black Lab) I think I know what he is thinking. I spend more time on the floor talking to him now. He loves it.

Marley and Me is another book along the same lines.

Another great dog book, "A Dogs Purpose". You will never look at your dog the same after reading this.

The Art of Racing in the Rain is one of my very favorite books but surprisingly one by Dean Koontz is also fantastic. And it's not scary or weird. It's almost a love story about his dog. You have to read "A Big Little Life" about his love for his dog Trixie. I laughed (a lot) and I cried. I never knew Koontz could be so, well, human.

A Great Read!

I loved this book..... It seemed a little "hokey" starting out, but not after I got into it! I've had a lot of friends tell me the same thing. Please.... If you feel that way, just keep reading. You won't regret it!

I agree.....and such a delightful book! I may need to read it again! If you ever loved a dog, you too will understand!

I could not get past the beginning, where they hit the dog.

Has anyone had an experience similar with another book?
