Nope, never went to a Romney speech in the Villages. It is very brave of him to sing like that though. Simon Cowell would have torn him to pieces on AI if he heard him. The Villages scene though seems like less than 5 seconds if that. The singing though sounds like Romney did this at the Villages this January 30 (2012).

I would love to see the Romney side twist that ad, open in TV with Romney and cut to Obama bowing to foreign heads of state.

Romney is the problem? Does Obama have any clue at all?

wake me up when the Obama supporters get off the minutia and onto real problems....you know the ones Obama is purposely avoiding discussion and or commitment about.

How can reasonable people get enamored with the stuff that in the end does not matter....just like all the negative stuff about Obama just sort of slips away.

Remember wake me when you have something that affects the direction of the USA and we the people.

President Obama just wrapped up a town hall meeting in Ohio today where he was asked everything from help for small businesses, to fracking, to gay rights, which is all I heard before the network cut away. Meanwhile, Mitt Romney is at another $50,000 per plate fundraiser in Baton Rouge, LA.

Romney's campaign has evidently learned that the more people hear from and about Romney, the more they dislike him, so they continue to keep him under wraps from answering questions and campaigning. He has done two campaign events in July: a townhall in CO and the speech to the NAACP, which didn't turn out too good.

So if you're waiting to hear something constructive from Mitt Romney, have a good long nap.

Tired of it all!

Who cares about tax returns??? Romney made money and my guess is he paid taxes. If he did not, I am sure the IRS would be all over him. If he did something wrong, then they would prosecute him. Both Romney and Obama have more money than I will ever see. Do I care? - No - they made their money - good for both of them. Do I expect them to take their cash and give it all away to help the little people - No - so long their pay taxes like I have to do then they can spend their money however they want.

All this "he did this" and then the other side says "he did that". If I had my way I would ban all political ads. Take all that money and pay down the national debt. Maybe they should just eliminate "republican" and "democrat" and just have candidate A and candidate B.

Let them go out and shake hands and kiss babies and tell the people what they hope to do in their presidency. Telecast the event live on TV or on the radio. No commentary from the media -- I will listen to the broadcast and form my own opinion. Force the voters to make up their own minds based on what is said, not what is in some political ad or based on some TV commentator's viewpoint. The media makes me sick...they have lost all credibility.

I just hate what this country is becoming. I am tired of the government not working for the people - seems they are working against the people. I don't mind paying taxes - but don't want to see most of my paycheck going to Uncle Sam. I WILL VOTE - because I love my country. But honestly, this election is really getting under my skin more than any other election in the past. My dad fought for freedom - I am glad he did not live long enough to see what has become of this country. He would have been so disappointed....barf

Remember when the point of debates was to gain educational information about a candidates position concerning essential issues such as the economy, defense, etc.

Contrast that with many of todays candidates contests and it looks more like an episode of The wives of.............

While some may level bias by me, I do believe Romney has made every effort to talk about the issues stay away from negative campaigning. In fact if I had any criticism it is that despite some despicable allegations Romney has not reacted more aggressively but then Romney is all about business

From an independent voter, who is leaning Romney - yes you are biased. Romney is no more issue oriented than Obama. Both are running the typical, smear the opponent and don't back yourself into a policy corner, campaign. Anyone that sees one or the other as above the fray is biased and blind to reality.

and thanks to the Supreme Court ruling on campaign money it is going to get worse much worse.

Sheldon Adelson is individually trying to buy the election, partly cuz his company is under scrutiny for illegal overseas business practices. He wants a new Prez and AG. :cus:
