Just finished reading the letter from
Gary Morse. Really excited we may have Health Care!
With almost 95,000 we are a city to itself!
Hoping the cost is affordable
We're in!!

I just wish there were signs of the appropriate doctors signing on; signs of the other facilities being under construction!

I know. All I hear is good doctors leaving. I don't know what letter you are talking about but with health issues being an older adult's number one worry, THIS isn't the best place to be.

See that all you varmints who say I never criticise this place?

AND...The Morses can build buildings but they cannot make good medical people come here.

Have to say...we did not get a letter in our snail mail today from Gary Morse. Wonder if we will???!!! We never got the health-survey that went out neither.

The letter is addressed to all 92,154 residents. If yours wasn't in your mailbox today, check tomorrow or the next day. It's a very nicely written explanation of the neighborhood Care Centers (seven planned, with the first -- in Colony -- opening soon).

Did you pay your bounty fee when entering Florida?

"Mayo Clinic" style of salaried doctors in 8 Health Centers. Success depends entirely on the quality of the doctors. The centers can be built quickly Villages style, but to hire 70 to 80 doctors may be time consuming. The doctors will be general practitioners that serve limited patients and have the patience to serve.

Sounds good to me.

I got a letter and I'm Canadian, so it definitely has been sent to each and every resident.

Is it a version of boutique medicine?
