I ate at McDonald's?! (Yes, but don't tell anyone)
When McDonald's came out with their new Chicken McWraps, I called the main office to get some nutritional information. I thought it would be just one product but it turned out that there's about 4 or 5 different Chicken McWraps. It would have taken a long time to get all of the information on all of them so I asked for information on just one.....the healthiest one.
That turned out to be a grilled Chicken McWrap. So I wrote everything down as it was told to me over the phone. It wasn't too bad except it's a little high in sodium: 1050mg. And total fat is 12 g. But saturated fat is only 5g. (about the same as an egg?) Protein is 30g. Not bad for a light lunch or a big snack. ;) At the end of our conversation, I was offered a coupon by mail and I accepted. A few days ago I went to McDonald's to give the grilled Chicken McWrap a try and I found it to be satisfactory. I mean, if you happen to be out shopping and you get hungry for a quick lunch, a grilled Chicken Mc Wrap is enjoyable and it's probably better for you than other choices you might make. ;).......:icon_hungry: One caveat: At $3.99 for a Chicken McWrap you might do better to get a grilled chicken sub at Subway. The Chicken McWrap has very little vegetables (leafy greens etc.) whereas you'd be able to load up on all kinds of vegetables (of your choice) at subway, for less money. |

The Mcdonalds web site provides nutritional info for all their products.

OP the information you report is exactly why McDonald's is the number one restaurant in the world---period. However, they sell "what sells" and their fat foods are their big profit items. Thing is---if they didn't---somebody else would.
On another note, their coffee is darn good and cheap too. |

What I usually do at McD's is take out certain ingredients,
usually cheese or any sauce. Go to their website and you can build it the way you want it. Their side salad is good and maybe can be added to the wrap for more veggies? |
I've always loved the taste of the tarter sauce they use on their fish sandwiches.Just me I guess but very tasty.PS-don't tell my Dr.

I tried their coffee once and I agree that it's good and very inexpensive. The only problem is: I have overactive bladder and I had to keep getting up during the night. Since that time, about 4 or 5 years ago, I haven't been drinking any coffee or tea. |

I didn't realize "you can build it the way you want it." When I was waiting for my order there was a man describing how he wanted his hamburger. He said he wanted cheese on it etc.. I didn't hear the whole conversation and I was wondering why he was giving instructions. Ha! Now I know. |
