Just trying to add a bit of sick humor.

I think above par means below par and below par means above par. It's like the expression "Bad". Bad is Good.

Nope...."above par" is to "par" as being normal or average...ergo: "above par" is feeling better than average...being a better than average person, place or thing. It in no way refers to "par" in golf speak....ta da!

I also have some I've never been to.
If others like them, that's great.
If they truly are bad, they won't make it.

Good food, bad food? Who cares, let's talk about the important stuff. Bonny, how are the drinks?

better than average is above par? is that correct?
so if par is a 4, is above par a 3 or a 5?

ooops, i guess i missed your point.
you are saying when people are above par it has nothing to do with golf.
what does par mean outside of golf?
i like learning new things.

Enough drinks will do that and also dramatically influence a person's assessment of the quality of their meal.

Do all the CC's serve breakfast?
If not what time do they open?
In my perfect world, each restaurant [head chef] would take turns doing a cooking demonstration/lesson before they opened. Maybe 1 day a month for each restaurant.
Has that ever been attempted?

Tom - I don't know about all of them but most do not serve breakfast. I believe most open at 11AM. And I love your idea about cooking demos before opening.

Check the newspaper. I know a few do, but not all. Or call the individual CC.
