Went there two times way after it opened. The place is run like a Chinese fire drill. No definite lines up to the counter. You just give your best shot. Next visit, waited twenty minutes on line only to be told "sorry we're out of custard, it will be a while". The manager was taking a beating from customers milling around waiting for their orders. Now I know the help was new but BEING OUT OF CUSTARD in a place famous for custard , I don't think so..

Maybe it was Custard's last stand.

Up north ours was packed, 7 months later walk in and out in under 5 minutes. The calorie count will make you rethink what you are ordering

Maybe that one should send someone anonymously down here...to Culvertly evaluate the issues this one seems to be having?

They could even call the person... an 'underCulver' agent.

Yeah, but that might lead to a big Culver-up.

First 4 or 5 times I went, there was a line at each register. Last week I went in and there was about 10 people standing in a sort of line back by the wall, I asked the first person if they were waiting on their order. Then I remembered, it's not like McDonalds, here they give you a number and you can sit down. The guy said, no were waiting to order. I said, way back here? what about that second register or when they open the third register, what you gonna do? He said, this is the way it was when I came in, next time you can do it the way you want to do it.

Then a new guy walked in from the other side and got in line for the second register. I said, there goes your plan. Then a guy comes in the door behind me and said, is anybody in line at that register, I said, no they're all waiting back here, then he shook his head and said, why don't all line up at the registers. Then the guy in front of me said again, you can do it your way next you come, but this is the way it was when we came in.

BTW, the 6 piece shrimp dinner is excellent, I've had it 5 of my 6 visits. Butterfly shrimp, great cole slaw, very good fries, and good cocktail sauce, and I think it's about $8.95.

Went to Culver's today for the first time. The kid taking our order was not paying attention to what we were saying. Ordered 2 drinks gave us one cup. Requested ketchup on the burgers...simple right? The two burgers had no ketchup on them, were cold to the touch so much so the cheese did not melt. Much better hamburgers at Burger King! I mentioned the no ketchup to the kid on the way out and he just shrugged his shoulders? 2 other customers were complaining about their orders as well. We won't be back.....

I hope I never find or see Culvers at the Villages. I lived near Culvers in Clermont and worked near the one in Winter Garden. It is so good, it's addicting. I have to look the other way when i see Culvers cause I can eat a pint going and coming. It is just too good. So I hope I don't ever find a Culvers now that I live in the Villages.

Sorry, too late. It’s on 466, but I think you know that already.

Culvers

Went there for the first time yesterday. Put a Golden Arch in front of it and you have another McDonalds. Will try again for Ice Cream but sure won't rush to eat there again.

McDonalds Vs. Culvers

The only advantages McDonalds has over Culvers is that McDonald's serves breakfast and has pretty good coffee. Culvers is my go to place for fast food burgers/chicken. Culvers' salads are great - also fish dinners and shrimp. Just my 2 cents.

Every once in awhile I just love a quarter pounder from McDonalds. Both of our kids worked at McDonald's during High School. They told us how clean it was and the managers expect the scrubbing even under the tables after closing. McDonalds restrooms are the ones we use on long trips in the car.

I can find something decent to eat just about everywhere, granted not as healthy or just right as the food at home, but a nice little experience.
