That is not what the OP said. He made no distinction about whether the dog is in a place allowed by law or not.

Why am I not surprised an app like that could really exist. Some people actually desire to harm animals for amusement. Imagine a service dog or otherwise bolting loose for safety and causing an accident at someone's jest.

There are mean-spirited bullies everywhere. There are also trolls.

Isn't harming animals some kind of risk factor for some kind of mental illness or criminal activity? They say serial killers often begin by hurting animals.

I am more than sickened by this whole thread and ask that it be closed.

Agree Grace. This is sick beyond words.

Maybe we should all be as passionate about protecting PEOPLE that are terrified of dogs or are allergic to them, etc. etc, etc. When we place animals over people it is definitely a sign of mental illness.

Mrs. Wolak recently served the dog “steamed broccoli for breakfast, raw ribs for a snack, and a grilled chicken breast and baked sweet potato for dinner,” while her husband and daughter supped on simple chicken. Said Mr. Wolak, “There is only one answer to fixing the wedge between us, and that is to get rid of the dog.”

No one is placing animals over people in this situation. I am terrified of people who would act this way. Your reasoning makes no more sense than harming someone who is smoking, by making a loud blast close to their ears. EVEN if we don't like smoking and we have an allergic reaction, we aren't allowed to harm someone.

Intelligent and fair and thoughtful people remove themselves from the situation, they don't cause harm.

This is simple. Florida law prohibits animals inside restaurants with the exception of Service Dogs. All other animals are prohibited.

In some jurisdictions, where specific enabling laws have been passed, pet dogs (only dogs) may be allowed in OUTSIDE dining areas.

Therefore, there can be no excuse for doing anything to discomfit Service Dogs inside a restaurant or pet dogs in an outside dining area, where authorized, since both are lawfully present.

Shame on anyone who would do so.

Your opposing opinion is noted but it makes perfect sense, putting and animal's rights over a human's rights. If it is legal to smoke there then you should leave if you don't like smoke. If the dog is allowed there then you should leave if you are afraid of dogs. If the dog is where it should not be then the dog should leave. No one is complaining about true service dogs either. Dogs are subjected to high pitch sounds all the time throughout the day such as sirens etc. Some are acting like you would be setting off an explosion beside them, good grief....

Foolish to compare this app to animal abuse and if so then pets are being repeatedly abused by bringing them out to where they are subjected to sirens and other loud high frequency sounds...

As a responsible dog owner I know where and when to take my dog in public. I also know part of the reason people fear dogs or other animals is because they don't understand them or their nature.

A siren and any other normal sound encountered during the course of a day outside does not hurt a dog's ears. What the OP was suggesting does and amounts to animal cruelty.

So, if I read you correctly, you are saying the only place they are not supposed to be is Cody's?

Are you sure you are a biker? Most bikers I ride with would far more prefer animals over people. Dogs are rarely rude and judgmental.
